Kaushik’s lawyer counters Neerja that Kaushik can be anywhere if not in lawn and no one didn’t see him on terrace as well and says this case is an attempt to ruin the reputation of Bagchi family and asks permission to question Shefali.
When Shefali arrives, the lawyer queries her about who filed the FIR. Shefali discloses it was Neerja, but she was alone when Chakri confided in her. The lawyer questions the validity of Neerja’s accusation against his client, emphasizing her background and the lack of corroborating evidence. Despite Neerja’s objections, the Judge silences her, surprising her.
Next, the lawyer calls Didun, which shocks Neerja. Didun undermines Chakri’s character, insinuating she fabricated the assault story. According to Didun, Kaushik, being wealthy, had no motive for such acts. The lawyer dismisses Didun after her testimony.
Following this, the lawyer questions Neerja, asking if she was also under the influence of bhang that day. Neerja admits to it. The lawyer brings in a doctor friend to testify about the duration of bhang’s effects. He questions how Neerja regained awareness within three hours, suggesting she spiked the food. Neerja denies it, but the lawyer alleges she’s deflecting. He argues that while the police report mentions the crime scene was cleared, Kaushik appeared downstairs shortly after Chakri’s fall, leaving no time to clear evidence. Neerja struggles to refute this, and the judge adjourns the trial.
The lawyer taunts Neerja, suggesting she focus on saving her marriage if she can’t win the case. Didun joins in, mocking Neerja’s origins. Later, the media queries both the Bagchis and Neerja about the unusual situation. Back home, Moushmi hands Neerja prasad, anticipating Kaushik’s imminent return as innocent. Trisha offers to support Abeer, who expresses disdain for Neerja’s actions.
In jail, Kaushik meets Didun to stop Neerja. Kaushik asks her to destroy evidence. Didun says to him that you are always in rush and so you are here and don’t worry I will destroy evidence till then let me have some fun. Kaushik says to her, enough now save me and stop Neerja I beg you. Didun says to him, she will but asks him how he did everything. Kaushik tells her that he hot Chakri while trying to stop her and she fell which Laltu saw and he threatened Laltu and made him clear evidence and says please stop Neerja from reaching to Laltu. Kaushik offers Didun double money. Didun says to Kaushik that, I will do everything to stop Neerja as I want her back in Sonagachi.
Precap: Neerja meets Laltu and his daughter and says to him that your daughter is so lucky she has you to protect her but Chakri didn’t have anyone. Neerja says to him that, she has to reach court tomorrow early morning and now it’s his decision. Didun and his men kidnap Neerja. Kaushik’s lawyer says in court Neerja isn’t here so we guess teh case is clear. Neerja fights Didun and her men.
