Pavitra Punia, the well-known actress, is grappling with a profound personal loss as she mourns the passing of her father, Kushal Pal Singh, on November 6. The retired Delhi Police officer had been unwell for several months following a fall at his Mumbai home.
In a heartfelt statement, Pavitra shared the details of her father’s health struggles, recounting how he suffered fractures from the fall and had been on bed rest. Despite showing signs of recovery, he suddenly took a turn for the worse on November 6, leaving Pavitra in shock.
Expressing the difficulty of this period, Pavitra described it as one of the toughest phases of her life. She narrated the events leading to her father’s passing, emphasizing the need to stay strong for her family, which includes her elder brother and mother.
Reflecting on her father’s positive spirit, Pavitra remembered him as a resilient man who never gave up in life. He continued working until his retirement, after which he moved to Mumbai to live with Pavitra. She expressed profound sadness at the absence of her father’s blessings and shared that her thoughts are consumed by his memories during this challenging time.
