Actor Naveen Sharma makes joyful television return with ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ post wedding
Returning to the television screen post his wedding, actor Naveen Sharma expressed his elation in a recent interview, describing the experience as “surreal,” given his eagerness to be back on set.
The show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ delves into the intricate weave of twists and turns in the lives of Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi (Mugdha Chaphekar). Recent events saw Prachi marrying Akshay (Abhishek Malik) for the custody of her daughter Khushi (Trisha Rohatgi). Subsequently, Ranbir consented to marrying Mihika (Aafreen Dabestani), Akshay’s sister.
With Prachi and Ranbir’s connection now evident, Akshay’s jealousy emerges, prompting him to hasten Ranbir and Mihika’s wedding to distance Ranbir from his life.
Naveen has taken on the role of Aryan, succeeding Pulkit Bangia. His arrival could potentially bring tranquility and positivity to Ranbir and Prachi’s lives. Aryan, Aaliya’s (Reyhna Pandit) son, returns to mediate Ranbir and Prachi’s conflicts. He encourages Ranbir to prioritize his own happiness and not make decisions solely for his family’s sake.
Naveen shared his excitement about the role, stating, “I am very excited about portraying my character of Aryan on screen. I must say that I am really enjoying working with the whole crew and the team.”
Addressing his decision to take on the role, Naveen said, “This is my first project after my wedding, so I had to contemplate on saying yes for the role, but my wife Roshni supported me in making this decision. That’s how I made it back to Mumbai, and we have decided that she will shift here for her further studies after a few months.”
Reflecting on his return to the set of ‘Kumkum Bhagya,’ Naveen shared, “Shooting with the team of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ is a surreal experience, and I was literally missing being on sets. So, I am really happy to be back. The whole team is very welcoming and warm, especially Krishna; he made me so comfortable on the very first day that I didn’t feel like I am resuming work after so many months.”
As Aryan reenters the show after months of absence, viewers are brimming with anticipation for unexpected twists and turns that could pave the way for Ranbir and Prachi’s reunion.
