Taarak Mehta actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal accuses Producer Asit Kumarr Modi of witness tampering
In a shocking development, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently filed an FIR against the show’s producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, alleging s*xual harassment and workplace torture. In a recent interview, Jennifer shed light on the current status of her complaint and raised serious concerns about potential witness tampering by Asit Modi.
Jennifer revealed that one of the witnesses in her case is Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, who had previously come to her aid during an incident involving Asit Kumarr Modi’s inappropriate behavior. Gurucharan, having offered his support as a witness in May 2023, suddenly changed his stance on June 9th. Jennifer stated that Gurucharan informed her that all his pending dues, amounting to three and a half years, were unexpectedly cleared by Asit Modi after he agreed to be a witness in her case.
Expressing her suspicion about Asit Modi’s intentions, Jennifer shared, “I was taken aback because Gurucharan was using the exact same words that the police officials had asked me a few days ago. They had inquired if there was any neutral person who could mediate and resolve the matter between Asit Modi and me. It felt like Gurucharan was instructed to say those things when he went to collect his pending payment.”
Jennifer indicated that she was willing to meet Asit Modi and discuss the issues when both Gurucharan and the police approached her for the same. However, despite her willingness, there was no response from Asit Kumarr Modi and his team. Instead, Jennifer claimed that they falsely accused her of ten baseless things, further complicating the situation.
The allegations made by Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal have raised serious concerns about potential interference in the legal process, and the case continues to be closely monitored by the public and media.
