Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei actor Lakshay Khurana got married to his girlfriend Shreya in a lavish ceremony on February 26. The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “We got married on February 26. It was a beautiful wedding. It was lavish. We didn’t want to spend too much initially. But later we realized that we had been dating for 9 years. We had been through several ups and downs in life. We supported each other throughout. When I would be going through a rough patch, Shreya would be supporting me and vice-versa. So then we thought let it be, as it is a one-time affair. We wanted to do it properly.”
He added, “We spent all our savings on this. We made sure it was top-notch. It was well-arranged. Our friends, and family were there. It was a gathering of about 700 people. It was a beautiful celebration of our love, relationship, and journey together of 9 years. We planned it really well.”
Talking about any wedding gift he planned for his wife, Lakshay said, “The wedding was itself a special gift to my wife. Initially, our parents weren’t too supportive of the decision to get married now but later they all came on board. It turned out to be a really good event in our life.”

The couple is currently focusing on their professional life and saving up money before they can plan for their honeymoon. The actor said, “I am back to work after the wedding. I want to focus on my work. My wife is also working. We are focusing on our careers. I have been doing a few ads and waiting for a good project. I am reading a few scripts. It’s summertime and we are saving up money to spend on a good honeymoon destination.”
Lakshay met Shreya in Delhi through common friends and they started dating. The lovebirds have been together since 2014.
