Simple Kaul tries to raise funds for Vibhu Raghave who is fighting stage 4 colon cancer
Nisha Aur Uske Cousins actor Vibhu Raghave has been fighting cancer for a year now. The actor is suffering from stage four neuroendocrine colon cancer. His good friend and actress Simple Kaul and others are trying to raise funds for his treatments.
Simple shared a post on her Instagram account where she wrote, “This post is for my friend dear friend Vibhu @vibhuzinsta who’s currently suffering from 4th stage colon cancer. My friends and me are trying to raise funds for him for his next cycle of treatment and consecutive treatments. He’s been advised by Tata doctors to take immunotherapy each month. His immunotherapy costs us 4.5 lkhs each cycle. The money we collected through ketto during previous cycles has been used. We need more funds for his treatment that happens at Tata memorial hospital every month. Pls help me and my friend to raise money for him . He’s better today because of all of your good wishes, prayers and support. Like each time, help me out to help him survive through this.”

Earlier in an interview, Vibhu talked about his fight against cancer and how his friends have been his pillar of strength. He told BT, “My main core group is Simple Kaul, Additi Malik, Mohit Malik, Saumya Tandon, Abbas Rizvi, Manini Mishra and Tuhinaa Vohra. Normally what happens is that when someone has cancer, even close family members and friends get tired after some time and they stop supporting them. A lot of people sometimes get physically and emotionally exhausted taking care of a cancer patient. And my friends are God’s blessing and are just not ready to give up on me. And it is their positive energy that has made me so strong during this whole journey of cancer. When they are not ready to give up, how can I?”
