Sheezan Khan sent to judicial custody under the Tunisha Sharma suicide case
Sheezan Khan, who is the prime accused in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Earlier his police custody was extended by a day on Friday owing to the allegations leveled against him by Tunisha’s mother Vanita.
Tunisha’s maternal uncle, Sheezan’s lawyer, and sister Falaq Naaz were spotted outside the Vasai court. During his interaction with the media, Sheezan’s lawyer said, “There is time for bail, we will decide and then move the court.”
Tunisha’s uncle Pawan talked also talked about it and said, “Sheezan is not able to recall the password for his Gmail ID…We want the probe to happen from every angle. No one can stop the truth from coming out. There could be a lot of information on Gmail, and if he was on dating apps, they are connected to Gmail…that is why he doesn’t want to reveal his password.”
He added, “Tunisha has died by suicide or was murdered, I don’t know but in such cases, the crime cannot be hidden for long and it will come out.”
Tunisha’s lawyer said, “It was the first day when Sheezan’s lawyer had said in his argument that Tunisha and Sheezan broke up so that they do not end up being like Shraddha Walker and Aftab Poonawala. We didn’t start the love jihad angle, they did. It’s after them that the media started it. It was in his lawyer’s mind, not ours.”
He added, “Police also said that when Sheezan was asked about his passwords for Gmail, YouTube, and other accounts, he said he had forgotten them. It was shocking for me too that he has forgotten too many things in 7-day custody and has started to repeat some things.”
For the unversed, Tunisha Sharma was found dead on December 24 on the sets of her TV show, Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. Her co-star in the show and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan is currently facing charges of abetment of suicide.
According to Tunisha’s mother, Sheezan and Tunisha broke up 15 days before the actress died by suicide. She also claimed that Sheezan had a heated argument with Tunisha on the sets and that he also slapped her, just a few minutes before she took her life.
