Virat gets emotional thinking of meeting his biological son Vinu. Mr Sheshadri brings Karthik. Abhi Mujhme Kahin Baaki Thodi Si Hai Zindagi… song plays in the background. Mr Sheshadri tells Karthik that this uncle came to meet him. Karthik greets Virat. Virat pampes Karthik with teary eyes. Karthik asks who is he. Virat says baba, his baba, then says his father’s friend. Karthik says he never saw him before. Virat says he saw him when he was a baby and grew up so big now. He hugs Karthik and notes a mark on his hand. Karthik says its there since his childhood. Virat asks Seshadri’s since when Karthik has this mark. Mrs Sheshadri says since birth. Karthik goes to play with his friends. Mr Sheshadri shows Karthik’s toddler pics when they adopted him. Virat asks if Karthik’s name was Vinu when they adopted him. Mr Sheshadri brings a bracelet they found with Karthik when they adopted him. Virat checks and says their son is not his Vinu as Venugopal is written on a bracelet. He apologizes them for troubling them. They pray that he gets his son soon. Virat thanks them and leaves.
Savi serves lunch to Sai, Sahiba, and Usha. Usha asks Sahiba about her family. Sahiba describes about her family members. Usha asks what Sahiba means. Sahiba says there is a famous Mirza Sahiba love story, her papa loved that love story so much that he named her Sahiba. Sai asks if there is Mirza in her life. Sahiba says she will first concentrate on her art work and then think of a life partner. Sai says a life partner can change their lives, she became a doctor after her marriage and her husband helped her a lot; she then says she means her ex-husband. Virat returns to his car crying. Vinayak asks where is his new friend, why is he crying. Virat says something went into his eyes. Vinu asks why don’t he accept that he is crying and asks if he came here to find someone special here. Virat says yes. Vinu says doctor aunty says its good if they get what they want and better if don’t get it as god has kept something better for them. He promises to always be with him.
Virat takes Vinu back home. Pakhi asks why did he leave home. Vinu says Bhavani scolded him, so he got disheartened and left home. Pakhi he vented out Bhavani’s anger on his mamma, he knows how much she was worried for him during Ramleela incident, his mother is always worried for him, his mother would die without him. Vinu apologizes her. PaVkhi says they should silently listen to elder’s scolding as elders are always right. Vinu nods okay. Virat goes to washroom and recalls all the recent incidents happened while searching for Vinu. He thiks if god had to break her hope, why did he awoke a hope in him. He angry stamps his hand and drops something. Pakhi hears a sound from washroom. She notices Virat’s phone ringing and picks call. City Hospital’s dean says he wants to talk to Mr Chavan. Sai says he can inform her. Virat walks out just then. Dean says there is a small mistake, he wants to inform him something. Virat says he will reach right now and leaves without speaking to Pakhi.
Sai meets her patients and interacts with them. Sahiba praises Sai’s good nature and jokes saying since everyone are becoming her fans, she will have to shift her pottery class somewhere. Dr. Srinvivasan informs Sai that Pratap has turned suicidal and is trying to commit suicide by jumping from terrace. Pratap climbs errace wall. Everyone plead him to come down. He threatens them to stay away from him. Sai and Sahiba rush to him and plead him to get down as he is a brave man. Pratap says he is not a brave man, he hates his own life. Sai requests him to share his problems. Pratap says his girlfriend agreed to marry someone else when he went missing for some time, will she convince his girlfriend to return to him. Sahiba says everyone problem can be solved with a mutual discussion. Pratap says there is nothing left to talk, he lost his hand while serving his country and was unconscious for 2 months, his girlfriend didn’t want for him at all. Sahiba says maybe his girlfriend didn’t know that he is alive. Pratap says she knows now, but left him. He tries to jump. Sai shouts at him its enough.
Precap: Sai tells Sahiba that her pottery therapy is amazing. Sahiba says Sai’s eyes sparkle when she talks about pottery therapy and asks if Vinu is her ex-husband’s son. Constable informs that Pratap kidnapped Vinu and Savi. Savi warns Pratap that her father will not spare him. Pratap calls Virat and threatens him.

Anyway I just want to write this comment/reply… to a somewhat irritating post😔… Actually I had decided to let it go. It came a few days ago from a commenter I didn’t know, I first thought, I might have “misread” it a bit… But it kind of still bugging me…. I don’t want to “carry” it to the new year 💬😁…
So here it is…

@Doyie, I don’t know how much of that you meant seriously… but this is basically for all the people who also think that having such a scandalous show every night on TV is no big deal! …Bcz „it is just a drama“, you said… Well that’s exactly the mentality that allows this show to rule the TRPs, imo…
You think “We’re all boiling for nothing”? … Maybe we are boiling. But definitely not for nothing!!!
This show airs in prime time, right at the beginning 🕗, it counts as family entertainment. I.e. everyone can sit around there, including children. And I don’t think that people who so diligently feed the trp for this sh*t serial, are sensible enough to send their children away. And frankly, even if they did, that wouldn’t be a solution…it would make them even more curious 👀 … The point is, we shouldn’t underestimate the daily show format… It always pops up in people’s minds bit by bit and in the end it might leave a more lasting effect than an impactful movie… Now… imagine a kid or teen who sees their parents regularly watching this disturbing series. For months now, it has been shown how Patralekha, the most immoral and also criminal female character of the show, is celebrated and respected as a heroine, as a saint, with a “pure heart“…. Those kids or teens watching, might get the idea that doing evil deeds isn’t that bad, in the end you might even be rewarded for it. Or when they see the love or lust of a DIL for her Devar being tolerated, encouraged and even crowned with marriage, the poor kids might even start to think that maybe their family relationships too, are not as sacred as they’re been taught … Is that maybe “nothing” for you?
Another important point: This show is not broadcast only in India. We often read cmts from international viewers here with sentences like: It’s terrible! Is this the real India? Such a disappointment… etc…. I’ve always harshly criticized that… Bcs I think it’s just silly to form opinions about a whole country based solely on its daily soaps.
Just one show, even one like GHKPM, cannot be enough to cast a bad light on the whole Indian audience… BUT sadly, the fact that this show consistently comes #2 and sometimes even #1, IT kinda DOES!!!
So my problem with this series is not just the loose ends, or Bhavani&Co as you said, also not just the horrible Bhatts, and not just the sad fact that Ayesha was robbed of her starring role in the most unfair way😒… The biggest problem still is the high viewer ratings.
In fact, if this show finally got out of the top 10, and aired in much later time slot, where it belongs, it’d be half as bad. Well I would still be disappointed that such a promising show had to end like this, but it wouldn’t bother me that much…
And your sentence: “I just feel that the response gotten from viewers goes to show how wonderful these guys are with what they do.” 🤷♀️😒 …. I don’t think that is the case.
Most viewers just see smth different here, and it doesn’t even have to be smth positive… Many of them don’t really care about the consequences… But the mass audience needs to be guided. And although everyone can decide for themselves, the main responsibility lies elsewhere. It’s not up to this production house, except moral responsibility, of course, …and it’s not even up to Starplus. Actually, it’s up to the Boards n authorities who decide the age ratings on tv & media, and up to the laws for tv content in different time slots. They really seem to be quite liberal in India, I’m afraid …
So to reiterate, we’re certainly not fretting about “nothing” here. And yes, we probably won’t get anywhere… But naming the wrong thing is still important. And… who knows, maybe we’ll be lucky enough to get one or the other silent forum reader to switch to another Chanel for a little while🤞…

Heyy Lin.. I agree with you on everything you just said about this serial.. it’s promoting toxicity at a whole different level.. I even mentioned it on the other day how I never expected a tv serial could create lot of mental impact.. so yes, we are definitely not fretting on nothing.

Not just that single time.. whenever my frustration goes to peak, I trouble my hub with the latest track revision and then my complaints about it.. and I ask him, is it right? is it right? ofcourse he has to agree with me 😅 and he laughs out when I tell him the track..like what the heck??
And about pampering.. oh yeah, well pampered by my mom.. never did a single simple work as long as I stayed with her 😅
right now at in-laws place, so all pampering is for little one and I’m not special anymore 🤷🏻♀️
but I got much more emotionally connected with Sai after being a new mother.. I feel her pain a lot.. and I also relate many aunties with Bhavani 🙄 literally people still go gaga with baby’s gender.. everyone wants a baby boy only even now.. aunties nowhere related to us telling..”thank god first born is a boy, now second can be anyone, no issues”.. spiked my BP to another level.. who gave them the audacity to comment on my baby’s gender? even during pregnancy, many expected it to be boy.. whereas my sister is the one who cried on delivery day that it’s not a girl 😆 poor sis..

And about baby gender, I remember my mom telling me about her MIL wanting to have a son and my Mom taking her good class for debating on the baby’s gender😅 My Mom herself being a gynac lashed out at all those aunties using some biology terms which they couldn’t understand and ultimately had to shut their mouths😂🤣 And after few years of my birth, those aunties suggested my mom to try for one more kid but she again lashed at them and was firm that she don’t want second child😂
But on the other side, it’s sad that even today, we have such people around us who debate on baby’s gender and are obsessed for a male child, my aunt even gave her husband divorce because he wanted a male child and was ready to give away his 5 day old daughter in orphanage🙄

@Lin I totally agree with you .!i know that ghum should be moved to a later time slot .but each and every parent is responsible to what their kids watch on tv ,if it’s PG 13 or 16 then they shouldn’t be watching because what they will show is not meant for their age .

Hi everyone, I am here to say something out of the episode cz it really made me angry. I hope you guys are aware of what aish’s brother did today. I am just venting out here cz i feel like punching those sharmas. Ayesha has worked for 2.5 years despite of corona, toothpain, leg fracture, elbow fracture and this aira gaira has the audacity to say Ghum is only about bubuwarya. Abey hatt. ghum is, was and will always be Sai Joshi show. And still some wants us to keep quiet, why should we do that? Wo sharma’s kuch bhi bakwaas bole or ayeshians usko jawab bhi na de, esa to hohi nahi sakta.

Ignore such jokers dear, and you’ll find some Pakhi blind fans in insta too who feel Pakhi was the one who’s always wronged by Virat and Sai was the one who came in between Virat-Pakhi, but it’s of no use to go and argue with them. I’m telling with my own experience, 2 days back I fought for 30 min with them as the compared Pakhi with Aarohi (a character of YRKKH) and in middle of those fights, they even mentioned about what all “hardships” Pakhi faced due to Virat🙄 After fighting for 30 min, I realized I’m wasting my own time and energy😑
