Shark Tank India is one of those shows which became a rage as soon as they hit the TV screens. Everyone everywhere was talking about the show and it’s impact was so immense that children moved on from playing ‘Ghar-Ghar’ to ‘Shark Tank – Shark Tank’.
The show is now all set to come up with it’s second season and fans are eagerly waiting to see what this season has in store for them.The promos have been spreading like wildfire and people are just counting days to the premier. This year though there will be one face who will not be seen on the show. And that is none other than the founder of Bharat Pay Ashneer Grover.
He has been replaced by Amit Jain (CEO of CarDekho). We all were curious to know how other sharks are feeling after Ashneer left. Sharks, Anupam Mittal, and Vineeta Singh were asked if they are going to miss Ashneer Grover and if his absence will have any impact on the new season.
Anupam Mittal shared, “I feel this show is very big and huge. It is a show through which Indians are able to fulfill their dreams and aspirations. This show is bigger than any of us, it is huge as I said earlier. It is bigger than any personality whether it is me, or anybody else. Nobody from us can make or break the show. The magic is in how we all come together, the magic is in the founders, the show, and is all about the pitchers, and entrepreneurship. It is not about me or any other Shark, it is about India. The upcoming season is going to be explosive, dhamakedar and there’s no doubt about it. And nobody is going to miss anyone this season.
On the other hand, Vineeta Singh shared, “I am going to miss Ashneer Grover, I think he was good. But whatever happened was between him and the channel. The show is not going to have any impact. I feel season 2 is going to be phenomenal. And I believe that ‘The Show Must Go On’.”
Shark Tank India season 2 will see Namita Thapar (Emcure), Aman Gupta (boAt), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Vineeta Singh (Sugar), and Peyush Bansal (Lenskart) on the panel of sharks. The show is all set to air from January 2, 2023.
