Maddam Sir fame Anupama Solanki roped in to essay the negative lead in Bindiya Sarkar.
Anupama Solanki, who is known for her stint in Maddam Sir, is now all set to essay the negative lead in the TV show Bindiya Sarkar. The show also features Dhruv Bhandari and Sonal Khilwani in the lead roles. Anupama’s character in the show is expected to wreak havoc in Dhruv’s life. She will be essaying the role of Neelu Vaghela’s younger sister in the show.
Anupama talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “I enjoy playing negative roles. They are challenging and there is a lot one can do here because you are constantly plotting and planning. Casting directors often consider me for negative roles. Of course in my last show, I played a positive role, but mostly I have played negative roles. I started my career with Ye Hai Mohabbatein and have played negative roles in Daayan and Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei. In Bindiya Sarkar, I will play a negative lead and bring in a lot of twists and turns with my entry.”
Talking about essaying a negative role, Anupama said, “Positive roles don’t have much scope. There are no layers or shades to it. So, I don’t miss playing them. For Bindiya Sarkar, I had auditioned for another role, but later got selected to play the negative lead and I’m glad.”
Anupama has spent four years in the entertainment industry. Talking about her journey so far, she said, “I have just taken baby steps in the TV industry and want to do more interesting and challenging roles. I am basically from UP but my family is now settled in Chandigarh. I am based in Mumbai now.”
