Scene 1
A rickshaw hits Nima. She faints. A woman picks her up and says to the driver Manav let’s take her to the basti. He says why not a hospital.. She says police will arrest us if we don’t. They pick her up and take her to the rickshaw. Manav looks at Nima in the mirror. An old woman looks at Nima. She fainted. The woman says she came in front of our rickshaw. Aai says why did you bring her here? Should we call a doctor? The woman says no we just came to this neighborhood. I don’t want any problem here. She says I sent Manav to work. I will handle her. She applies medicine to Nima’s wound. Aai says she looks pretty. The woman looks at herself in the mirror. She says what pretty?

Sunita calls Tulika she has been calling Nima but her phone is off. Tulika says where will you find her? Sunita says should I go to the police station? Tulika says yes and lets us know whatever they say. Nima opens her eyes. She says where am I? She recalls getting hit by that rickshaw. Aai comes. She says Sujata come to see she has opened her eyes. He says I will return. Manav says you could ask me. Don’t steal. Tushar says stay out of my matters. He leaves. Manav says what did he say? Why can’t I recall Marathi? What’s happening? Sujata says come sit, let’s have food.
