The Episode starts with Gunu ji saying Kailash shouldn’t get insulted without any evidence. Ahilya says a victim has to prove the crime by bringing evidence and witness, this is the problem with the law, a criminal gets freed because of lack of evidence and witness, I have no proof against Kailash, but I have seen Renuka getting attacked and running away from her house, no one has the answers about the culprit. Gunu ji says if a woman runs out of her house, then the strangers and goons can get after her, Kailash isn’t involved. She says but he had a reason, don’t you think we should consider this. He asks how many laws do you want to change for Renuka, this way, everyone will ask us to change laws. Dwarka says Khanderao and Ahilya are going to become parents, they work together in darbar, you have just one excuse to meet him, that’s the marriage. She feeds the food to Parvati. She says Gautama will tell Khanderao to focus on marriage, think how can you make Gautama do this.
Khanderao says I agree with you, but we should stay on the main topic. Ahilya says yes, Malhar has agreed for this adoption law, Renuka can’t adopt a child from the family who tortured her. Pandit argues with her. He says you have no proof that the family tortures her, this is just her demands when she wants the property of her late husband and doesn’t want the child from the same family. Khanderao says we can’t challenge the old beliefs. Kailash starts acting and asks Renuka not to defame him. He says I m ready to give you my younger child, else you can adopt the child from my other brother or sister. Gunu ji says Kailash didn’t make good relations with anyone till now. Ahilya asks Khanderao to give her some time to prove Kailash wrong. Kailash says I was not proved wrong before also, why should we waste time. Khanderao says we will keep the darbar again after some time, we will give Ahilya time till evening. He goes. Ahilya consoles Bhola and Renuka. Renuka loses hope. Khanderao asks her to trust Ahilya’s promise. Kailash asks Gunu ji to send someone to keep an eye on Ahilya. The guard sees Ahilya in the room. Ahilya takes a disguise and leaves. Sarja is in her room as Ahilya. Gangoba asks Ahilya did she find something. She signs no. He asks then what. They all go to the darbar. Ahilya asks doesn’t a woman have a right to choose a child. She argues with pandit.
She says just a motherly emotion is imp to adopt a child. Pandit tells about the low and high castes. He says Bhola isn’t of high caste. Ahilya asks what about those who has kept their actions low, a human is known by his values, not his caste. Gunu ji says Ahilya has no proof against Kailash. Ahilya says its true, I have no evidence, but I have a witness. They all get shocked. She calls the witness. Srihari and Lakshmi are brought there.
