Tum Bin…Without you… Part 1
Thank you very much my dear friend Sydell who made a beautiful cover page.
I dedicate this SS to Revu who wanted me to write a short story on the movie Tum bin which was remade into telugu as Ela Cheppanu.Thanks to Revu for suggesting the actors for the 4 main characters of Tum Bin.
Sorry for posting it late Revu.Actually I had written this story when you told me about it.But since the cover page delayed,I became late in posting it.
A couple’s engagement ceremony…..
The boy took the ring in his hand.
He:I know that you will permit me to put this ring on your finger.But I need your permission for something else.I don’t know whether you will give me the permission.
She:Omkara,what is this?Just before our ring ceremony you are talking like this?
Omkara:Aastha,I have to go to Bangalore for an important meeting.Please don’t say ‘no’.
Aastha:Omkara,it is true that I can’t live without seeing you.But I can’t interfere in your profession.You can go.Why should I oppose?
Omkara smiled.
Omkara’s grandmother Kalyani said:Now you guys exchange rings.What are you both waiting for?
Omkara-Aastha exchanged rings.
The guests congratulated them.
Kalyani blessed them.
Kalyani:I am so happy for both of you.You both are made for each other.
Omkara-Aastha smiled.
Omkara’s father Tej:The to be wed couple..go and rock the dance floor.
Kalyani:A father should be like this.He should support his son’s romance.
Tej:Like you supported my romance in my younger days mom.
Tej and Kalyani laughed.
Omkara-Aastha danced romantically.

Omkara-Aastha were sitting in a restaurant.
Aastha:You brought me here for a dinner date so that I can temporally forget my pain caused by your decision to go to Bangalore.Right?
Omkara:Yes.But I know that nothing can erase our pain.But for some time we can forget that and enjoy.Right?
Aastha nodded.
They enjoyed the dinner by feeding each other.
The next day…
Aastha had come to see off Omkara.Suddenly he pulled her closer.
Aastha:Omkara…what is this?Somebody will see us.
Omkara:So what?We are engaged.
She smiled.
They shared a romantic eye lock.
They moved away from each other.
They bid ‘good-bye’ emotionally.
Omkara:Bye.
Aastha:Bye.
Omkara attended the meeting in Bangalore.
Somebody from there called him for a party and Omkara went for the party.
While walking,he bumped into someone.
Omkara:Sorry.
That person:Sorry.
Omkara:It was not your fault.
He:It was not your fault too.
They both smiled.
Omkara:By the way,I am Omkara Singh Oberoi.
He:Hi,I am Shlok Agnihotri.
They shook their hands.
Shlok’s phone rang.
Shlok:Excuse me.
Shlok moved away and attended the call.
It was Aastha.
Aastha:I miss you dear.I really love you.
Shlok was stunned.Slowly he smiled.
He thought:Who is this?Why is she calling me and telling me that she misses me?Is she my secret admirer.
He smiled while Aastha was blushing thinking that she was talking to Omkara.
Shlok:Who is this?
Aastha:I am your Aastha.Did’nt you recognize me Omkara?
Shlok thought:Oh,she mistook me for her lover.
Shlok:You are mistaken.I am not Omkara.
Aastha got embarrassed.
Aastha:Sorry.
She cut the call.
She rang up Omkara.Omkara picked up the call.
Omkara:Hi dear..
Aastha:I tried to call you.But I guess I typed the another number by mistake.The call reached someone else.Mistaking him for you,I said ‘i love you’ to him.I got embarrassed.
Omkara laughed.
Omkara:I hope he did’nt fall for you hearing you say ‘I love you’ to him.
Gauri frowned:You find it funny?What if I really say ‘i love you’ to him?
Omkara joked:What if one day,you will really say ‘I love you’ to him?
Gauri got irritated:Stop joking Omkara.You know that I can never do that.Aastha is only yours.
Omkara:I know that Aastha.I just joked.
Shlok who passed by heard Omkara say ‘Aastha’.
Shlok smiled thinking:So the caller girl’s lover Omkara is Omkara Singh Oberoi.
Aastha to Omkara:Never joke like this again.
Omkara:Agreed dear.
A peppy dance was going on at the party.Shlok and Omkara were pulled to the stage to dance.Omkara imagined dancing with Aastha while Shlok danced alone.

After the party…
Shlok and his cousin brother Varad were driving back home.
Shlok was the one who was driving the car.
Suddenly he saw a puppy being followed by a small child on his way.He drove the car to a side to save the child and the puppy.But shockingly Omkara came that way and got hit by Shlok’s car.Shlok was shocked.He stopped the car.Shlok and Varad got out of the car and went near Omkara without knowing that it was him.Shlok was shocked to see his face.
Shlok:Oh no…Omkara!We will take him to the hospital now.
Shlok took him to the hospital with Varad.
Shlok to the hospital staffs:It’s an accident case.
Varad lied:We saw him lying on the road injured.
They took Omkara for operation.
The nurse gave Omkara’s phone and purse to Shlok.
Omkara’s phone rang.Seeing the name ‘Aastha’ with her photograph on the screen,he picked up the call.
Aastha:Omkara,did you start from there?What time will you reach here?
Shlok could’nt control his tears and switched off the phone.
The doctor came out and said:Sorry,we could not save him.
Shlok was shattered.
Doctor:His family has to be informed.
Varad took Omkara’s purse and phone from Shlok and gave it to the doctor.
Varad:We don’t know anything about this person.We just saw him on the road.So you can inform his family.This phone may help you.
Shlok was too numb to react.
Varad and Shlok reached their house where they stay.
Shlok was upset.
Varad:Shlok!Atleast talk something.Come on man!
Shlok burst out:What should I say?Today because of me,someone died.His beloved’s voice is haunting me.She lost her lover because of me.I can never forgive myself.I feel so guilty.How can I forget everything so easily?
Varad:Listen Shlok.It was not your fault.It was just an accident.You don’t blame yourself.
Shlok hugged Varad and cried:I can’t forget this horrifying incident.
Varad became upset.
Seeing Omkara’s lifeless body at the time of cremation,his family and Aastha could not stop crying.
A police station…
The constable looked at DSP Rashmi Singh and said:You have successfully caught so many wanted criminals.Still you are not satisfied?
Rashmi:No.Because I could’nt catch the person who was behind Omkara Singh Oberoi’s accident.
The constable:But his own family did’nt file any case.They are not interested to find that person.
Rashmi:They say that they won’t get Omkara back..then what’s the use of finding that person?But my conscience is not allowing me to ignore it.At any cost,I will find that person.It’s my promise to myself.
After some months….
Shlok went to Oberoi Mansion and introduced himself as Omkara’s friend.
Shlok:I just met him at a party.Within some time,we became good friends.I came to know about Omkara’s demise.So I felt like coming here.
Kalyani became upset while Tej was silent.
Kalyani:I will bring tea for you.
She went to the kitchen.
Shlok stood before Tej.His eyes were full of tears.
Shlok:Uncle…actually I came here to confess something.The guilt is killing me every moment.Because…actually Omkara died getting hit by my car.I swear…I did’nt do it purposefully.It just happened.
Shlok explained how the accident took place.
Shlok:I took him to the hospital to save his life.But unfortunately he could’nt be saved.I know that you can’t forgive me as you lost your son because of me.But you punish me.I am willing to accept any punishment.I deserve it.
Tej stared at him.

Wow wow , 🥰 finally my favourite film is as an FF. This one bought me back to the first scene of Tum Bin. Om and Aastha engagement , their romantic dance on Tumhare siwa song was beautiful. Shlok – Omkara meeting was nice. Shlok hearing Aastha on phone , then understanding on is Aastha’s lover, Then PM’s accident, Shlok bursting out his feelings at Varad, feeling guilty was so emotional.Then Shlok arriving Oberoi mansion, confessing the truth to Tej was so painful. Waiting to see Ashok first meeting

A new ff!! The cover looks amazing!! Loved the episode. Omkara’s death was shocking as I didnt know the story of the movie. Shlok confessing to Tej was emotional. astha-shlok phone convo was cute.
Thanks a lot.If you get time you plz try to watch tum bin or its telugu remake.Telugu remake’s dubbed version nilavu pole is available. Both are very nice.Climax is better in telugu.

Amazing FF..💖💖. Omkara and Aastha engagement was romantic and their dance was also nice. But shocked that omkara have to leave for Bangalore..😮. But Aastha supporting omkara was good. Omkara and Aasth’s dinner date was nice and they romance before omkara leaving was cute and romantic..❤️. Omkara imagining dancing with Aastha and shlok dancing alone in Bangalore was nice.. omkara bonding with shlok was superbb..🙂🙂. Aastha calling shlok by mistake and omkara teasing Aastha was funny..😂. Shlok hitting omkara by mistake was sad. Shocked that omkara is dead..i really never expected..it was very painful..🥺🥺. Shlok’s brother Saving shlok from revealing truth was good. Sad to see omkara’s family and Aastha in pain in omkara’s final rites..🥺🥺😟. Shocked that shlok came and revealed the truth to omkara’s father Tej. Waiting eagerly to know what happens next.. amazing and interesting story but sad that Omkara died.
