Priyal Mahajan aka Purvi on ‘Molkki’ going off-air

Priyal Mahajan who essays the role of Purvi in the popular show Molkki recently injured herself during the shoot. Priyal is now doing fine and has been advised to rest. In a recent interview with India Forums, the actress talked about it and more.

She says, “I am better now, I went to the doctor yesterday, there’s a tissue between two joints that have gotten overstressed; it is a normal sprain and nothing more than that. It will be fine after doing all the exercise and everything. I can move, but I can’t run and stress my knee. Movement is needed for the joint to free up, I just can’t stress my leg.”

She adds, “I am like how Purvi is, I am really clumsy, I keep falling in between scenes also. If I am running also, I don’t see things through. Plus Purvi’s costume is a lehenga mostly and things keep happening. If I talk about my health, so obviously, health is wealth, if you don’t take care of it, there’s nothing. Every six months, I go through my tests and everything. Now, it is my leg, so I have to walk, there are scenes where I need to run, I need support to sit, I am limping as well and there are scenes where a lot is needed, but I am sure it will get better with time. My team is also taking care of me.”

When asked about the news of Molkki going off-air she shared, “There are a lot of rumors that Molkki is going off-air but we haven’t gotten any heads up as yet so I have no idea and no clue about it. For a long time, this has been going on and we are all attached to the show, if it happens too, I know there is a long journey ahead and it will take some time for us to stop talking about it enough. It is my first show as a lead so I will feel about it but I think everyone moves on with life.”
