The Episode starts with Chanakya telling Helena that the knowledge which Ashok obtained by his Guru, he will never misuse it, this is the satisfaction and trust on him which makes me fearless towards death, if death comes ot me today, then it will soon come to you all too. He says Devi Helena, you are such a bad Unani, your existence will be erased…. Helena stabs the knife in his stomach angrily. Chanakya looks at her. All the enemies there attack at Chanakya one after another. Chanayka recalls seeing a tiger and then Ashoka. He thinks of Samrat Ashoka. Ashoka is finding Chanakya and feels that some bad thing is going to happen.
Bindusara also notices the bad weather and thundering and says this is not a good sign. Chanakya gets stabbed and falls down. Helena says I think we should stab him one more time. They see the storm winds blowing. Siamak enters the hut. Helena tells Siamak that this is your biggest enemy, stab on his heart and kill him. Siamak says my mother and my beloved Guru died because of you, you don’t deserve to live, I hate you and that Ashok who stays in your heart. She stabs on his chest. Chanakya falls down and shouts Ashok. Ashok hears his voice and thinks Acharya ji is calling me for help. Mahamatya Khallatak says this is the death they all gave to Chanakya.
Helena says no one will know who has killed Chanakya. Chanakya lies wounded. Mahamatya Khallatak puts kerosene around him and come out. They light the hut and smiling seeing the fire sight. They all leave from there.
Dharma tells about the bad dream. She says she has seen fire around Ashok, as if he is stuck in problem. Radhagupt tells her about the problems, its good Chanakya knew about black magic, and he failed its effect, we will soon know who did it. Dharma asks who will do this. Radhagupt says Ashok and Chanakya are trying to why that person was using Tantra shakti against you to give you a cursed life. Bindusara hears them. Radhagupt greets him and tells him that Chanakya got to know about Tantra Shakti affecting Dharma, all her bad health symptoms were there, Chanakya has made her free of that Tantra Shakti. Bindusara asks who is that man, I will not leave him and punish him death by my hands. Radhagupt says Ashok and Chanakya are finding about that, I hope we will know the enemy before sunset today.
Susheem and Charumitra are happy, as no one has doubted on them, the lady who did Tantra Shakti is dead and even Chanakya too. Susheem says whatever Mahamatya Khallatak did today, I m sure he will save me, I did not imagine Siamak will be against Ashok, see how Helena took advantage today. She says yes, we should be careful, she helped us today and can ask returns. I will not let Dharma and Samrat Bindusara unite.
Bindusara says I m sorry, I did not know this and could not protect you. She says forget all this, we should think we are lucky to have a Guru like Chanakya, he made us know this tantra shakti thing. Bindusara says I did not believe Chanakya and doubted on you, I did not know my Dharma will do this, whom I trust so much, my heart was not believing this. She says your words are enough for me. He says its not enough for me and folds hands to apologize to her. She smiles and hugs him.
Ashoka reaches the place and sees the hut on fire. He jumps to reach there. Mahamatya Khallatak burns Chanakya’s Shastra book in havan kund. He says today a Yug ended. Chanakya’s chapter is over, so his Shastra will also be ruined. I will protect Magadh and coming generations will not even know Chanakya. He laughs. Radhagupt asks Badrabhatt about Chanakya. Badrbhatt says I don’t know. Radhagupt asks about Ashok. He gets to know form a lady that Ashok has gone somewhere, no one knows about him, he looked worried. Raghagupt is worried and doubts big danger coming on Magadh.
Ashok goes inside the hut and shouts Acharya seeing him wounded. He jumps inside the hut, and sees him bleeding. He covers a shawl to Acharya and lifts him on his back. He takes Acharya outside and asks him not to worry, he will get water. Chanakya holds his hand and stops him, saying he has no time. Ashok asks who has done this. Chanakya says I will ask Guru Dakshina today, will you give? Ashok nods and cries. Chanakya says he got him here as he believed that the peaceful dynasty he and Chandragupt Maurya visualized, just you will be making it possible, your greatness will become pride of the land, promise me you will become such Samrat. Ashok promises him. Chanakya says my journey ends here and your journey starts. He loses his breath and dies. A lion roars. Ashok closes his eyes and cries. The tree flowers fall over Chanakya.

Bindusara is shocked seeing Chanakya dead. He asks Ashok how did this happen. Ashok says this was not a tragic accident, it was all planned. Mahamatya Khallatak, Charumitra, Helena and Sushim look on tensely.

Siamak is such a backstabber. I never expected him to be like this. Ashok supported him each and every time and this is how he’s repaying him. Even after knowing the truth of his mother and guru Justin he’s plotting against ashok. After all he’s having unani-khoorasani-deshdrohi blood in him. But I think he’ll regret in the end before being killed by ashok. From today on we’ll miss a great actor like chanakya. Wonderful actor, mindblowing, superb!!!!!!! Wish you had behaved professionally and continued. Anyways I wish to see you in another historical show in a positive character like this one. You are and will always remain my favourite.

Subandhu, who did not like Chanakya, told Bindusara that Chanakya was responsible for the murder of his mother. Bindusara asked the nurses, who confirmed the story of his birth. Bindusara was horrified and enraged. When Chanakya, who was an old man by this time, learned that the King was angry with him, he decided to end his life. In accordance with the Jain tradition, he decided to starve himself to death. By this time, the King had found out the full story which was that, which was an accident. He asked Subandhu to convince Chanakya to give up his plan to kill himself. However, Subandhu instead conducted a ceremony for Chanakya only to burn him alive.

Chanakya was died in when ashok was 21 years old. and this time ashok is only 14 years old then…. Why writters…. U show Chanakya death before 7 years….. Very very fake and sad episode of samrat ashok…. I don’t want to see this serial…
Fully agree with Ayush Gupta. As many viewers mentioned this is worst episode. Hope the producers apologise for altering the history and telecast further episodes as per history. Otherwise no need to watch this serial any more.
As per history, chanakya dies 7 years before ashok became king . This is true but the catch is ashok was 29 when chanakya died ?. And it is said that radhagupt has the biggest hand in making ashok sit on the throne. Chanakya was the gutu for chandragupta and bindu as kings but not for ashoka. For ashoka, it is radhagupt who would be the guru when he becomes king
There must be some twist. As chanakya cannot be dead now. They must be planning something. There’s something going on after behind this scene of death!!
What db has said earlier is correct. There are two versions about Chanakya’s death. One he died as per Zain Upavash. Other is that he was burnt alive by Subandu, one of Bindu”s ministers that too on hearing story of death of Bindu’s mother.
Anyway, Joshi is such an excellent actor. I appreciate his dialogue delivery with perfect pronunciation. He led this story from the beginning with a foresay. Atleast, now the Director should impart some vision into Ashoka’s mind.
One regrettable thing is that enmity between family members exists even today.

Distorting history. Showing a small child as a partner in cold-blooded murder is so gruesome and disturbing. How did censor board pass it ? It is hazardous for our children. Suppose even if it had happened in history [the whole episode seems a big lie and improbable] they could have shown the animosity in some other way.
The tragic death of chanakya in this serial is borrowed from Julius Caesars death. I think they read the drama of Julius Caesar by Shakespeare.

Chanakya can not die.Because some days back colors tv shown some clip..in that Chanakya tied to a tree and Ashok requried blood very badly.He says his mothers blood required and he can save or loose either Dharma or Acharya….I think tv is creating some sensation here..

If ever Chanakya dies , Chandragupta who is right hand of Chanakya and disciple of Chanakya would be the only guideline for Ashok and helps Ashoka to become emperor and under Radha gupta guidance only Samrat Ashoka becomes the emperor of the emperors i.e, Samrato ka Samrat.
Real story will start now and dont get disappointed now just watch further.
Chanakya’s laws are still implemented in the court now also in 2000 and also will never wipe out still more decades if ever Mahamatya Khalatak destroys all Chanakya’s polcies of Rajya Karobhar, Rajnithi and Laws all are still safe and implemented generation to generation and now its role of Radhagupta and Ashoka to find the enemies and now Director will show all twist and turns and also the resolution for the problem and watch it on daily basis as it will improve everyone’s knowledge. Director and writer has tried to explain the laws of Chanakya in a very simple manner and who has experience in life can utilize it currently also.

Chankya ki mrutyu jis prakar se dijhayee gayee hai wo puri tarah asantoshjanak hai.mai is dharawahik k writer aur director ki ninda karta hu. Itihas ko sucharu roop se prastut karna chahiye. Chanakya ki mrutyu galat tarike se dikhakar writer aur director ne itihas ka khun kar diya. Mai aaj ye pran leta hu ki aaj k bad samrat ashoka jo k ekmatra serial mera pura pariwar dekha karta tha aaj k bad yeh serial nahi dekhenge kyunki mai apne baccho ko itihas k galat jankari nahi dena chahta.

He gave new vision for India & rest Of the world.we never forgot Acharya Chanakya and emperor Ashoka because they are our golden memories.

Well, I guess the director and Manoj had a fight and so they changed the script to kick him out of the show. How unfortunate. There’s no way to really revert these events unless Chanakya was dreaming for the last 3 episodes.
I hope from this, Ashoka’s desire to become Samrat as well as his desire to get vengeance burns. It’s from this anger that he ends up killing so many people and that he eventually converts to Buddhism to attain peace of mind.

bullshit, you cant kill chanakya like this.The most intelligent person in indian ancient history can never be entrapped as shown in the last episode.Please bring back chanakya otherwise people will not believe in the authenticity of the serial…….and will fast loose viewers.

Chanakya wasn’t an Acharya of the type that he would have not programmed the consequences of the meeting with Khallatak, a notorious Amatya. Here, the Author and the producers have failed in characterising the real Chanakya. They have converted the historical drama into love drama. The production team fails in making the drama memorable by showing Chanakya dead by the hands of villains of the drama.
Your TRP will go down, do not try to change history, I think scirpt writer ran out of ideas, it is not any saas bahu serial pls stick to history and do some masala work.
Chanakya lived appx 125/yrs if you producers do not know kindly go through the history and do.some.masala to bring chanakya back alive, do not.fool history and viewers

Dear Producer, the spectators can not be made fool by Killing Chanakya when Ashoka is still a kid. If you have ran out of contract with Joshi then replace him with a new face but don’t kill the character. You can not kill a historic character just to make money by fooling people.

Obviously the whole story is changed, you can’t blame the producers as they’ve clearly said in the disclaimer that it is fictional.. Expecting it be just like the history is dumb!

Remember Chanakya delivering dialogue that – he can defeat death if he sees Magadh in problem’. So he can very well be back.

You have already distorted the story up to great extent e.g. Helena died when Ashok was 4-5 years old but here she is still alive similarly so many other examples are there so please do not distort it again by killing Chanakya in the serial. This is a serial of Ashok and not a sas bahu serial. Last by killing Chanakya your TRP will bite dust. Please do not play with history or change its name i.e. Rahul ki Kahani etc.
Agree it doesn’t claim to show history as it happened. But at least some basics shld have been adhered. Chanakya was not killed like tis. He went down to old age like a true jain sadhu by giving up food.

Chanakya himself told in chanakya neethi that not to trust enemies and he only written that serpant has poison in his teeth but the bad person has poison in his whole body. How he goes alone to the forest? He keeps secret agents and body guards for king, Dharma and Ashoka and why not for himself? It is against chanakya neethi. Director and script writer should read first chanakya neethi and chanakya’s life history.
Chankya lived a full life. This serial is presenting half truth and changing history for no reason. Now this serial is looking more like poor show.
Here in Samrat Ashoka Colours serial it is shown chankya died after was killed by helena and charumita people but it seems to be somthing whicch i have read if there is such history please provide perfect Reference o4 just make the serial as just entertaiment n remove name CSAshoka.

I agree with Alkesh, chanakya is a man who can never defeat from such stupid people. As in conversation with charumitra he said to her that he is a person with a strong determination who can do everything to save magadh. He is also a man like who never have faith on people like khallatak. This may lead to wrong guidance. May be the writer thinking some different or chanakya have different plans to work upon. I hope we will continue to watch this series otherwise its difficult to see a people like Rani dharma and Ashoka can survive without chanakya.
