Pani – a story we wish were true – part 5

Few days later, both parth and niti have been called for an audition cum look test for an upcoming show but none of them are aware of the fact that they are to be cast together.

Niti is going towards the studio entrance when parth accidentally bumps into her. He thought he was very late and was coming running towards the entrance and bumped into niti and she dropped her phone and it broke into pieces ! She did not realise it was him and first bent down to collect her phone. Parth just muttered a sorry and ran inside as he was getting late. His sorry was too soft to be heard by niti. She followed him and before they could enter the studio she grabbed him from behind and made him turn towards her. Just when she was about to shout at him for breaking her phone, she got more angry on seeing the same old parth ! Both of them spoke up together ! Tum !! And this time niti was so angry she just did not let parth say anything. “Mujhe samajh jaana chahiye tha ki tum hi hoge! Jisko kuch fark nai padta ki uske actions Aur words se kisiko kya feel hota hai aisa kam karke bhagne vale tum hi ho sakte ho. Tum apne aap ko samajhte kya ho ?? Kya bohot bade actor ho ?? Itna attitude late kahaan se ho ?? I .. I just never wanna see your face again !” Saying this she leaves.

Parth thinks to himself, “main isse apologise karne ki soch raha tha ?? My decision was correct . Nahi bolna chahiye sorry. Attitude mera nahi uska bohot zyada hai ! If she would have talked to me acche se Na to main sorry Bol bhi deta for that day ! But no she had to shout and prove herself correct Na ! To fine so be it. ”

As niti enters a man comes to her, gives her a small audition script and asks her to wait inside one of the rooms as the director would meet her there. She takes it as a good sign as she would get some time to talk to her co actor as in the one who was supposed to be cast against her. She would get to talk and open up more so that the audition would come up really well. The show was under a renowned banner and so any actor would be delighted to be a part of it and since niti had got the opportunity, she did not want to let go of it. As she enters the room, she finds no one there. So she just decides to wait.

Meanwhile, the same man outside asks parth to go and wait in the same room for the director and gives him the script.

When parth enters the room, niti is sitting on a chair facing the opposite direction and so none of them are able to see each other’s faces. Parth looks at the girl sitting facing the opposite direction and notices her beautiful long hair reaching her waist. He had always been the one admiring girls with such long hair. Too bad disha never kept such beautiful long hair to make parth admire her for that trait. He suddenly comes back to the present out of his thought process and realises the girl would be his co star to be and so starts talking.
Parth: umm hey ! I’m parth samthaan.

As soon as he utters these words, niti looks up from the script with wide eyes and turns around.
And the 2 of them again shout together. Tum ?!
