Television actor Sharad Malhotra is currently enjoying a massive appreciation for his role as Bakshi Jagabandhu in the show Vidrohi. The actor shares a great camaraderie with his co-actors Hemal Dev and Sulagna Panigrahi.
Talking about his equation with co-actors in an interview with BT, Sharad shared, “I am working with both of them for the first time. I think this is Hemal’s first show on national television. Considering she does not have much experience, she is performing very well. I like her confidence and knowledge of camera angles. She is enjoying her work, is passionate, sincere, and looks good on screen. She is a complete package,”
Talking about Sulagna he says, “She has been around for a number of years and has a lot of experience. She is a very polished artist. Sulagna has done very good work in the past. We have had the maximum number of scenes together on this show. It’s the effortless chemistry between us and she is someone very easy to work with. So, yes, it has been great working with both of them. Both are very different and unique in their own ways,”
Taking about the feedback, Sharad shares, “I am getting good feedback. The show has presented me differently. It is a taxing role mentally as well as physically but I am enjoying it.”
He concludes by saying, “I shoot go home and come back the next day to shoot again. A daily soap consumes an actor and there is no time left for other things. My wife and my pet give me company at home and home is where the heart is.”
