My forever after….. Anidita oneshot

“Oh, God !!!” Anirudh exclaimed in his thoughts, the moment he entered the coffee house, early one morning. “How can someone be so stunning ?! Her deep brown eyes could drown someone in them. Those thick eyelashes curtain those bashful eyes of hers, so subtly yet so gracefully. That light smile dancing on those lips looks like dew droplets on the early morning grass. And the winds picking up those gentle tresses of her hair, as she sits by the window, create a striking spotlight effect that demands a second look. Not to forget, God surely took his time, giving her those curves which could blind anyone with its perfection.  Ahh !! Whoever had the chance of attaching his surname to her name must have saved a whole country in his past life. Such a rare beauty could undoubtedly put the hearts of married men, like me to test. But, why does she even need to raise her hands to summon someone, even the greatest forces on earth will rush to be by her side after earning just a glance from her… “

 Anirudh stood captivated by the sight, completely oblivious of two things. The first of him being freezing up exactly in front of the entrance to the shop, blocking all the other people from entering and the second being the abrupt end of unending efforts of someone no taller than his knees, in pulling his index finger with all her might to grab his attention. Loud shouts of protest from half-asleep customers finally snapped Anirudh back into reality as he hastened, apologizing, to the summons from someone seated by a specific window.

“Well, well” a sweet voice and two pairs of questionable glances welcomed Anirudh, as he took his seat in front of a matron and a certain 5-year-old. The owner of the voice straightened herself and commenced with a cough; “It has been brought to my attention, Barrister Anirudh Roy Chowdhary that you have been caught red-handed while casting your drooling eyes at me, yet again, by my daughter, the righteous little Barrister Anidita Roy Chowdhary. So, go ahead !!! tell us how should you be punished for such an act of sheer cheekiness.”

“I am innocent, Barrister Bondita. I wasn’t gawking!! I was just amazed by your beauty.” Anirudh exclaimed in utter surprise, earning a small shy smile from his judge and an amused giggle from his daughter, who looked up to her father with delight in her eyes.

“10 years into marriage and you still think you can get away with saying that !?”  Bondita challenged once again, with the same smile.

“Believe me as I say, Mrs. Bondita Anirudh Roy Chowdhary” Anirudh spoke looking deep into his wife’s eyes, ” People assume that you fall truly in love only once in a lifetime, but just one look of your eyes or just that bewitching smile of yours is enough to enough to make me fall for you, head over heels, all over again.”

“You return like autumn and I fall every single damn time.”

So, the thing is I am not dead. Seriously.

I went on a week-long vacation just to drown yet again in my 11th class studies again, with continuous exams lined up. However, I have already written a few chapters but didn’t have the time to edit them so I could not post. My schedule was all planned up but then the show announced going off-air quite abruptly, leaving me in confusion. So, let me know in the comments if you guys are still interested in the second book of The Estranged lovers. If you are, then I will continue posting here.
