Nandini visits Shah house in the morning and asks Anupama about other family members. Anu says they were tired after yesterday’s event, so they are still sleeping. Nandini says she will go and meet Samar. Anu requests her to serve breakfast in everyone’s room as they will not come out. Nandini says she need not feel guilty as she didn’t do wrong. Anu says it hurts when they stand against their dear ones; she asks her to inform Baa to come out of room as she has gone to office and giving further instructions tries to leave house when Kavya stops her and accompanies her to office. Nandini hopes Kavya doesn’t create any problem to Anu at workplace.
At Anuj’s office, Anuj senses Anu’s pain and looks at her. She says she is fine, he need not worry about her. Kavya barges in excitedly and says she got some idea market regarding ideas. Anuj asks her to knock the door before entering his cabin and discuss her ideas with Anu as she is the project and not disturb him instead. Kavya walks out and remembers Vanraj’s taunts that she will work under Anu without bothering about her and her husband’s reputation. At cafe, Baa and Vanraj hears boys discussing that Samar’s mother is having an affair with NRI businessman Anuj, his father had an affair with a college, and son is roaming with an older age girl. Baa warns Vanraj that people are speaking behind their back now and soon will spit on their face. Back at office, Kavya discusses her online marketing idea with Anuj. Anuj says she did a good job and asks Anu how was her idea. Anu says its nice. Anuj says she doesn’t look more excited, so she should express her view. Anu says everyone don’t use smart phones for payment, especially older generation and like Baa and Bapuji, they still use old phones; for them, watching an advertisement and hoardings work. Anuj likes her idea and asks Kavya to include it in her plan. He then goes aside with Anu for a video conference. Kavya gets angry remembering Vanraj’s words again and walks out loudly shutting the door. Anuj notices that.
Kavya returns to her desk and vents out her anger in front of her colleagues badmouthing about Anu and Anuj’s relationship. Anuj walks to her and she stops. Anuj angrily asks her to continue. Kavya apologizes. Anuj reminds his warning earlier that there shouldn’t be any problem to his partner and his company because of her, her husband and family; she should be grateful to Anu who gave her a job forgetting their past, but instead she is badmouthing about her and mud slinged his partner in his own office; says she is worst than Baa who at least is worried about her family’s reputation, but she crossed the limits and its better she leaves. Kavya apologizes. Anuj says she is fired. Kavya pleads not to fire her on the first day of job as she needs it badly and her reputation will be at stake. Anuj says she tried to tarnish Anu’s reputation just now and is worried about her own reputation. Kavya pleads him again and then Anu to convince Anuj. Anu says she forgave her mistakes always as she insulted her, but she insulted Anuj and cannot be forgiven; she gives moral gyaan that many women are longing for work and don’t get it, Kavya got a chance and lost it. Anuj says she is wasting their time and says good bye. Kavya then misbehaves with Anuj that he gave her job to impress Anu and now became a hero by kicking her out of house. She then humiliates Anu that she has trapped Vanraj at home and Anuj at office, etc. Anuj warns her to shut up. Kavya shouts he is just Anu’s puppet. Anu warns her to get out before she slaps her. Kavya provokes her to dare try to slap her, continues spitting out venom against them and walks out.
Anuj tells Anu that this woman will not be quiet. Anu thinks Kavya will exaggerate the issue at home.
Kavya walks to cafeteria and cries hugging Vanraj. Vanraj asks what happened. Kavya says Anuj and Anupama. At Anuj’s office, Anuj offers chocolate milk to Anu and insists her to finish it before he counts 10. She does. He says they need to visit a factory at Ahmedabad outskirts, but seeing the situation, he feels.. She says her professional and personal life will not interfered, her house environment will not affect her office environment, they will visit factory tomorrow. He says that makes sense and asks her to go home now. She leaves greeting Jai Sri Krishna. He prays god to save her from same old drama at home. Anu reaches home.
Precap: Vanraj humiliates Anu. Anu removes cotton balls from her ears revealing she didn’t hear him and taunts to stop rising his BP, instead send her a voice message daily. Next morning, Vanraj tries to stop Anu from leaving house. She climbs wall and walks out and leaves in Anuj’s car, leaving Vanraj more frustrated.

The reason Kavya got so upset is that she had normalized insulting Anupama without facing any consequences.
She could have kept her anger to herself and took it out at home but she doesn’t take Anu as human enough to think that insulting her could get her into trouble.

Anupama becoming more Savage
There may not be any storyline left if Anupama leaves the house. Hope they do not make it like the Bengali serial Sreemoye. After leaving the house, Baa doesn’t allow her to meet Bapuji and kids. Anupama will become victim again. She will have to sacrifice the good family relationships in her life to get away from the bad ones…. Her kids will feel abandoned. Anupama won’t be around to share in the joys and sorrows of the people she loves and there will be a distance created. She stands to lose both ways – staying and leaving. In reality, many women don’t leave because of this. Leaving the house is leaving her rights over the people she loves. A divided family is an easy target for outsiders just as much as a family with rifts. Curious to see how the writers will take the story ahead
No body listens to baa in this house so people will meet her including her own husband ….. and in that serial she gets married to her friend , even Anupama will
Or… The story line could be that after she leaves people of the house like Kinjal, Samar, bapuji and mamaji spend more time outside the house with Anupama and Baa feels abandoned. At the same time Kavya is stuck with Baa and her households.
In the absence of Anupama Baa will realize how much Anupama was doing to keep the family united even she was a teacher, a business woman and one dancer. That too after divorce!
People these days don’t care about their present in laws and that woman made sacrifices for her ex in-laws

@Jazz, DIL don’t care for present in laws as they are treated as slaves, unpaid laborers.
Anupama shows DILs getting abused, there are many cases where DILs loot in laws and ruin their lives.
Problem is DIL stays outsider always. People need to accept, adjust, love and respect outsiders.
Can anyone answer me why step mothers are notorious?
I believe they are bad as they are no able to accept the kid as their own, they treat own kid as prince and step kid slave.
Examples are classic Cinderella and our own lord Rama, where to secure own kids right, step mothers turn inhuman towards step kids. They are Mata Sita for own kid and Putana for step kids.
Its the same person who turns Sita and Putana.
Step kid is abused as it is small, When these partialities happen with DIL, it causes conflict.
In laws want DIL to send all her abilities to vanvas and turn a slave only. It causes rift a murder of human rights.
We should change our tradition to give DILs their rightful rights, respect and love for what they are doing otherwise things will become destructive with women education and families wont exist.
Baa, Bapuji have already corrected their mistake by giving Anupama a property share. Now they have to support, love and respect her as a daughter more over as a capable individual having own opinion, feeling, emotions and rights.
I see selfishness as the only issue for these problems. We should teach human qualities along with education.
1. DIL are not always treated as slaves… There are inummerable examples where they are treated more than a daughter and in return they throw their old in laws out of the house

People don’t take their step children as outsiders… They see them as a competitor or threat to their own child.

@Wolky Dolky, one cant escape torture, its like omitting one chapter in life, if one leave it out of own fear the study is incomplete. study it, master it , live it, experiment with it and grow out of it. And to do that one has to be strong mentally, physically, financially emotionally and spiritually. If one is not strong in any of these areas torture is inevitable where to escape and go? Life is the perfect teacher one has to take rebirth to complete the lessons.
Also Kavya has become like vanraj, anger burst. She herself tells vanraj don’t take panga and what did she do….. karna after 300 episodes it hit her

However, I’m sure the promo where she leaves the house was a misleading one because she wears the same sari and a different one when she leaves for work.
They shoot promo some days before shooting the original sequence. And I liked precap. Anu finally became Samar ki Rockstar Mummy. Anu-SaNan are same. They can climb off a wall. I just wish she doesn’t stop Samar this time from leaving the house in the name of family. That psycho family doesn’t deserve him. Even Kinjal, Mamaji and Bapuji should move out from that Pagalkhana.

See, this is what happens. People who underestimate a person doesnt realise that person’s true potential. Vanraj just saw that she is good only at housework, he was ashamed of her way of talking, pronoucination, good for nothing but now he is seeing different versions of anupama which is way above than his kavya. Anu has good knowledge, experience, hard working, other qualities like dancing, climbing trees, etc. which she had forgotten in this 25 years.

Interesting episode. I have seen a movie years ago title Aakhir Kyon? And the movie and Anupama serial had uncanny similarities. There are some minor differences though. Though it’s not first time Anupama had similarities with bollywood movies.
It’s a remake from a bengali show called sreemoyee and theres another remake of sreemoyee called ai kutthe dil something I forgot lol
Yes I know it’s a remake of Sreemoyee. But I was mentioning the movie Aakhir Kyon which have similarities with Anupama. The movie came out in 80s. It was amazing movie despite its length.
Problem with Kavya is that she has earlier seen how anu’s family used to treat her and she also started doing the same. Secondly she considers herself as well educated, well groomed, smart and anu as an illiterate housewife. Hence she cant digest the fact that anupama has been given to handle such a big project.
Somewhere she also feels that anuj is much much better than vanraj in all aspects and might be regretting for her choice. She wants anuj to give her that appreciation, come behind her ( how vanraj used to do ) and not to anupama. But anuj shattered her ego.
Now she will take revenge on anu, like someone said earlier, she will get anupama arrested in human trafficiking but i think anuj will save and get her released.

@ Metin. Widows are being treated like aliens. They are not supposed to attend a function and even if they are called, they are not part of any rituals. Only sit and view as spectators. This makes you realise that you are no human being and that you have committed a crime. Divorcees or widows cant even think of re-marriage, cannot go near any religious functions that happens in a temple or marriage but men who are divorcee or have lost their wife, can attend, take part, remarry.
This is our society still though the country has progressed so much.

People don’t even understand what the lady is going through after losing the life partner, in laws normally blame her for everything, consider her inauspicious, rituals, functions are prohibited, neighbors avoid bumping. I have seen my maid breaking and dying daily. There is literally no support for her from her in laws, instead of supporting her they are in a mood to grab her husband’s property. And her parents are very poor to support her.
But slowly society is changing, she gets more support from outsiders, from the households where she works, where folks are educated and don’t follow traditions blindly.
Our culture and society is stupidly aligned to praise the powerful and exploit the weak.
So the only way to evade society rules and live on your own is to become powerful in all aspects.

Yes, yes, yes. This is a very good one. I’m in a good mood. And the best humiliation for Kavya. What a saucy stupid human. In this life, respect should be reciprocal, Kavya refuse to give anybody around her respect, so, therefore she should get the result of her actions sometimes, and not always get away with it.
She took everything away from Anupama. Her home, her husband, her family. Now she wanted to start misbehaving in the office. So as to take away the only advantage Anu has over her
I wrote here right from day one they gave her the job that she will cause trouble. Although, it was good they gave her the opportunity which she threw away with her bad morals.
So elated to see Anupama using her senses as a woman who aspire to attain greater heights for herself, those whom she loves and women who want to crawl out of the hole they put them.
Anupama cannot loose anything leaving that house. Her children are all grown. They are not at the age which others can maltreat them. And I trust Babuji will always go to see Anupama or Anupama will look for ways to take care of him.
I really want to see how Kavya will handle the family work, kitchen, going to market etc. In short, I want to see how she copes with Vanraj and Baa.

@ Tiara I agree with you. I am very happy that Anuj showed Kavya her real place & fired her. Kavya is a venomous lady. She deserves slap after slap. This ‘chudail’ doesn’t deserve job in any reputed company. She was desperate to get married to Vanraj. So she should sit at Vanraj’s cafe & sell coffee with her ‘V’. She deserves nothing more than this.
Baa and vanraj are already adding negativity, can’t writers make kavya a bit more positive?! @ Lola – He taunted and stopped anu because anuj fired kavya from job. As usual vanraj thinks its all because of anu. Kavya after coming back might have told vanraj what happened at the office though with extra mirch masala.
Hence he is stopping anu which is his way of controlling her and taking revenge.

I really wished that the makers should have brought Devika in for the wars of words with Kavya. Kavya would now cry and sob, lie to her V and he is another hopeless soul always ready to spite fire like a dragon.

I really do not understand this foolishness. Anupama and Vanraj are divorced and he has moved on, so why so much control over who she works with, where she goes and who her friends are. Women these days are a lot stronger and not be such emotional fools. If family values you then they will be there for you. Families like SHAHs need a full-time maid which she is who thinks they will not function without her. Respect is a 2-way street may it be Husband, kids, inlaws, or anyone.
Hope Anupama starts studying again and gets a degree. This will help her for a better understanding and executing her plan she Will she stop saying Suury then ??
