Actor Prerna Sharma has made his presence felt by starring in multiple shows like Chandra Nandini, Dev, and Arjun among others.
The actress is now all set to exhibit another shade of her art with a grey character. Prerna who is known for essaying so many positive characters will now essay a negative role in the upcoming show, Sindoor Ki Keemat.
Talking about landing her first negative character in an interview with ETimes TV, she said, “I have only played positive characters so far. This is my first negative character on TV. Everyone has seen me in just one shade, a typical rone-dhone wali ladki in all my previous shows. So, I am happy about trying something new. To be honest, it’s not easy to change expressions at the drop of a hat in front of the camera. One moment I am crying and the very next, I have to be mean. As an artist, I am really excited about playing a character I hadn’t before. I am grateful to my producer Gul Khan for trusting me with this part.”’
She added, “The story of the show revolves around two girls and I am the negative parallel lead. It will be shown as a positive character in the beginning, which will eventually turn negative. It’s challenging, but a strong character.”
Dangal TV’s Sindoor Ki Keemat will also feature Shehzad Sheikh as the male lead.

be careful the photo you have put is not of prerna sharma it is erica fernandez. erica played prerna sharma in kzk2 which is why her photo comes first when you google prerna sharma. the actress prerna sharma is different. i love prerna sharma a lot. many sidneet fans hate her and trolled her calling her aunty fatty….but i found her chemistry with siddharth nigam outstanding and wanted to see more of dharma-bindusara in cn. happy that prerna is returning to tv after long. thank you gul khan. i don’t like gul khan’s content. her stories are not that good but her mentality to give chance to small and infamous actors is worth being applauded cuz even shezad sheikh though being industry for so long has never got a main male lead role. three cheers to g. khan for recognizing diamond among coal. the title ‘sindoor kee keemat’ is discomfiting nevertheless hoping the series become hit.
