Mandeep Singh Bhamra recently quit Choti Sarrdaarni just when his track in Choti Sarrdaarni was all set to open up to be one of the main negative characters. Mandeep has to attend to a personal emergency in his hometown, Chandigarh. The actor will be flying home in the next couple of days.
In an interview with BT, Mandeep talked about it and shared, “Quitting the show has been the most difficult decision of my career so far. I am so disappointed and heartbroken. My character, which is currently being projected as a positive guy in front of the Gill family, was all set to showcase his true colours and turn negative. I was waiting to play the negative shade. But I have had to leave the show with a heavy heart. Unlike in a new show, where it takes time to prove yourself, Choti Sarrdaarni was an established show, so I had the chance to work on my character and not worry about the ratings.”
He further adds, “It’s circumstantial and no one is at fault. We don’t have a bank of episodes and hence, I had no choice, but to quit the show. The makers will finalize another artiste to play the part now. I wish there was a way out and that I could have got leave for a few days. But that wasn’t possible and I needed to be with my family at this point. I will be back in a week’s time and look for a new project.”
Mandeep says that he will miss his co-actors and shooting with them. “I share a great bond with all my co-actors, especially Vibha (Chibber) ma’am with whom I had the maximum scenes and Shehzada Dhami, who has become like a brother to me. I will miss all of them,” he concludes.

Avinesh Rekhi and Anjali Tatrai are coming together for an upcoming Zee TV show titled Tere Bin Jiya Jaye Na. The show will be produced by Anil Jha, Mohomed Morani and Mazhar Nadiadwala. Anil recently shared some pictures from the Mahurat Shoot on his social media account.
The show is reported to be based on the story of a prince, essayed by Avinesh, and a simple girl, essayed by Anjali. According to the reports Avinesh will be seen in a new avatar for his role.
The shoot for the show has commenced in Udaipur and in fact, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the show turns out to be a grand one. According to a report in The Times of India, Maharaja of Udaipur, Maharaj Kumar Sahib Lakshyaraj Singhji Mewar, have given the mahurat clap for the show.
Avinesh was last seen in Choti Sarrdaarni while Anjali rose to fame with her stint in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Her show Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii went off-air in just 2 months.

Whilst it is great to hear Avinesh will be starting a new role, it is not that of a Sardarji, and most likely we will not see him play a Sardarji again on ITV. That might be the case if he does Punjabi films, which I don’t think he has any interest in at the moment. For an actor to have a long career, he has to be versatile and that Avinesh certainly is. I will always follow his (and for that matter, the ex CS actors too) career in the years ahead. I think he will do very well but in years to come, he will always be remembered for his role as Sarabjit Singh Gill in CS. As for the post leap CS and TRPs, I think the competition is from current serials like Udaariyaan especially. Clearly other serials are more popular at the moment, hence the downward pressure on post leap CS TRP.

Actually my intention was nothing other than having fun by displaying different shades of character. Becoming polite and rude with the same set of people gave me some sort of unique enjoyment.
I know I did a lot of wrongful acts here and that too just because I was enjoying myself to the core. I really shouldn’t have done all this stuff.
Another reason behind this behavior was the vibe around Mehnav and the character of Manav in general. I didn’t like the dislike and contempt he was being given by all Mehrab fans.
So I made glorifying him my motive. I did that by debating with everyone as Jinny Jenny, being rude as Megha Desai, and politely approaching the community as Radhika Desai.
Sorry for that.
Coming to misusing people’s identities. I wished to see everyone’s reaction and know how they would feel seeing their friends say something entirely different and opposite.
I loved the savage side of Megha Desai and that’s why I sported it the longest. Whenever I wanted to be polite, I came as Jinny Jenny or Radhika Desai and whenever I wanted to portray my usual self, I became Megha Desai.
Sorry for hurting your feelings and tarnishing your intellectual work everyone.
My sincerest apologies to Salma i.e. Bacii. Bacii and I share the same hostel room in our school in Gandhinagar.
I was the one making all this mess while Bacii was being her genuine self. She didn’t know what i was doing. She liked the comments of Jinny Jenny, so she favored them. She disliked Megha Desai, so she was derisive to her.
Our devices have the same IP address because of being in the same locality. And that is why it appeared to admins that Bacii is fake just like me. None of us is able to comment on the updated page now.
Our comments are always awaiting moderation and never get published. Feels as if both of us have been blocked, all because of my fault.
Admins I would kindly request you to allow Bacii to post comments. For myself, I promise to banish myself from this forum for good and never come back.
