“You should get married to Riya” dadi said to ahaan

“Dadi how can we just believe Riya; she may be lying just to get married to me”

“Do you want our family name to be spoiled”

“Dadi sit down first and have some water… this much stress is not good for you. I will handle this matter”

Ahaan comes to Ishqi and gives his hand and she takes it. He gets her to his room   “Ishqi honestly I don’t remember anything of that night. I don’t know how to deal with this”

Ishqi places her hand on his “don’t worry Ahaan, I am sure the child is not yours. You will never do this; I trust you completely”

He cups her cheeks with his hand, and she places her hand on his.

“But do you trust me Ahaan”

The question catches him off guard

“Of course, I trust you Ishqi” but his eyes held a lot of questions.

“I met your mother the other day. The lady whom I saved from the accident and who is in hospital is your mother” Ishqi blurts out

Shocked was an understatement for his state. He didn’t even understand how he was supposed to react to this news… He removes his hand from hers “what the hell are you talking Ishqi” and walks away from her

“Trust me Ahaan, I just met her the other day, I didn’t know who she was, when she said her sons name was Ahaan Veer Malhotra, then only I came to know she is your mother”

Ahaan was still silent.

“You know I hate that woman; she left us and went when we needed her the most. If dadi had not looked after us we would have been orphans” ahaan said in anger but he was more sad.

“I know that Ahaan, that’s the reason I am not hiding it from you. I know you hate your mother. But every story has two sides. I am not asking you to go and meet your mother right now or forgive her or bring her in your life. I just don’t want any secrets between us. Nothing should spoil our relation AVM” Ishqi pacified him

He turns and she sees doubts in his eyes.

“We will deal with all these problems together Ahaan one by one”

They come out hand in hand and dadi fumes again.

“Me and Ishqi will support you once the paternity test is done” ahaan says to Riya

“What are you saying Ahaan, she is having my grandchild. We should just get you both married soon” dadi blabbers again

“Dadi I will marry only Ishqi and not anyone else.. And I don’t remember anything from that night. I can’t just believe what she says, after all that she has done” ahaan concludes “We will do it when you are comfortable”

Riya goes from there, and dadi plan flops again and she also goes

“Are you not going to ask me about your mother” Isqhi says

He looks at her angrily “I don’t want to hear anything about her… I just don’t care if she is alive or d… “

“Don’t you think you should listen to what she has to say at least once Ahaan”

“No Isqhi, I am not interested, and the topic is closed” he goes away from there angrily and Ishqi looks on. She wished he could talk to his mother once so that their misunderstandings would clear. She needs to convince Ahaan somehow.

She comes out and sees Karthik in deep thought.

“What’s the matter Karthik”

“Kya ho riya hai Isqhi.. Riya seems to be back in our lives” he jokes but she could see the sadness in his eyes.

“How is Shefali doing” she asks him

He tells her the hospital incident, and how she walked away from him

“Shefali’s dad left her mom when she was young. She had to take care of her mother who kept getting anxiety attacks because she loved her father too much. When he left kept getting sick. Shefali had to take care of herself as well as her mother. It’s not been easy for her an she has seen love destroying her mother” she looked at Karthik” so he behaviour is justified”

“But not all men are like that” Karthik argues

“That Is what you need to prove to her Devarji” she pulled his cheeks
