Chapter – 10

The episode starts in present, where Riddhima is telling about the incidents. She is so frightened remembering those incidents again that she hugs Vansh immediately. Vansh also reciprocates. He tries to give her utmost care so that she can over the tough situation.

Riddhima says while hugging him : After I don’t remeber anything. How I was lifted from there, how I was brought to hospital. I don’t remember about a single incident. Today only I came in sense and now I am in front of you, sitting and narrating everything.

Vansh : I know you suffered a lot for me Riddhima. It was for me that you were in that state. I had told you earlier also I am harmful for you. Our closeness wil bring nothing less than problems for you. And I can’t see you in this state. My heart aches.

Both of are crying in each others embrace. Pouring there heart out after a long time in each others arms.

Vansh : Today is 15th August right??? 2nd October is near. And this time I don’t want anymore death news like my previous birthdays. So to avoid this I took a decision.

Riddhima sits straight in her chair.

Riddhima : Decision?? What do you want to say?? About which decision you are talking about.

Vansh : I have decided that we should…..

Before he can complete his sentence his phone starts to ring. Angre is calling him.

Vansh : I have to attend it. It’s important.

Riddhima nods.

Riddhima thinks : Yes what can be more important that your first wife Angre. Sometimes I feel he loves him more than me. ( jealous ).

In the call :-

Vansh : Hello Angre…

Angre : Boss..pl..please come faa….ss…t. They… will ki…l…l… me. In the go…dow..n. ( wincing in pain ).

Vansh : Angre!! What happened to you?? Where are you….. ( shouting being panic ). 

The call ends.

Riddhima notices the sudden change in Vansh’s face and behavior. Even she is tensed seeing his sudden change.

Riddhima : What happen Vansh?? Any serious problem??? What happen to Angre, he is fine na?? ( panic ).

Vansh : I don’t have anytime to say now. I have to go now immediately. He is in danger.

Saying this Vansh rushes to leave, leaving Riddhima tense.

Riddhima : Why Bappa why with me only?? I and Vansh were so happy. After one year I wake up from this mess and now again problems of our past. Can’t we get over from our past and lead a happy life again??? I was such a strong and bold girl but I changed so much. ( crying ).

She then wipes her tears, bringing her old bold nature she says,

Riddhima : No I can’t be weak anymore. I have to find the truth by hook or by crook. I can’t fall weak. ( burning in rage ).

Vansh is driving hastily thinking about Angre. God knows in which danger he is. While driving Vansh thinks about Riddhima. He remembered her condition when she was lifted from the cliff.

Flashback Starts :–

Vansh reaches the spot where Riddhima asked him to go. He was half an hour late. Reaching there he starts to find Riddhima everywhere. Then his eyes fell on the crowd, who are standing at the edge of the cliff. There is also a crane standing there.

He runs towards the crowd panting for breath.

Vansh : What happened here???

Person 1 : Someone fell down from the cliff. A person saw it and inform the police. They are now trying to lift her body.

Vansh : What??

Saying this he went near to the crane. He saw the area is sealed by police and forensic team has already arrived. The crane starts.

After few moments all of them saw it is lifting a body of a girl fully drenched with blood. Her white dupatta has become fully red. The crane kept her body on the ground.

With a shocking face Vansh comes near her body and then sit down on his knees with a thud. He is so shocked that tears are not even coming out. His eyes are fixed on her body who is none other than Riddhima.

Vansh : Riddhima… ( under his breath ).

Medical team comes with the defibrillator. They are trying their best to survive her. Then Vansh remembers something.

His mom said him if a you love a girl and she also loves you and if she is fighting with death, then just hold her hand tightly. It increase her willing power to leave for you.

Remembering this only he extends his hand and holds her knuckles tightly. She takes a long breath.

Doctor : She need to be admitted in the hospital immediately.

Saying this they takes Riddhima with them and their hand parted.

After they took Riddhima, Vansh was still sitting there on the ground crying. He is cursing his fate for seeing Riddhima and loving her. It is because of him she is facing all this.

Vansh : Aaahh….. Riddhima…….. ( shouting ).

Flashback ends. 

Vansh reaches a closed godown. It is totally empty. No person or no goods ,nothing. He takes out his gun and gets ready. Soon he reach a room. He unlocks it and goes inside it.

Riddhima is standing beside a table tossing a paperweight. She has a killer look which can make fear to any criminals.

The room has only one table and two chairs only with no other furniture. Only one single photo frame of a queen. The only source of light is the table lamp. Riddhima sits on her chair and brings her face near the lamp.

Riddhima : Though I trust him but then also I suspect him.

Voice : Why???

A voice came from the darkness. Someone is standing but we can’t see the person properly. Slowly she comes and sits in the another chair. When the person brings his or her face close to light, we gets to see that she is none other than Sejal.

Sejal :Why you are not trusting Vansh?? Why you are feeling he is behind all this??? Listen Riddhima you misunderstood him a lot. So don’t take any decision in haste. Think properly and then say.

Riddhima : First let me clear your doubts. So my first doubt is that when I was standing beside the cliff waiting for Vansh. After he comes and I confessed him he says me ” My Love Is Harmful To You “. It is my first doubt, this is the same line he says me when I got hurt accidentally due to some suspicious reason. You may feel that another people can also say but voice?? How can I misunderstood listening his voice?? I can never. And I 100% sure it was Vansh’s voice. 

Sejal : Doubt 2?? ( closing her eyes and concentrating in her words ).

Riddhima : Sweetheart. After I was falling from the cliff he said ” Good – bye sweetheart “. Vansh only say me sweetheart then….

Sejal : Doubt 3???

Riddhima : This is the most important one.

Saying this she brings out a ring from her pocket and kept it on the table and on the ring it is written ” Vansh “.

Riddhima : When I was pushed by the person from the cliff, I was trying my best to hold something and save me from falling. In the reflex I hold his hand only but my finger slips. Fortunately a ring comes in my hand. And this is the ring ( pointing towards the ring ). I held it tightly in my hands. After that I don’t know what happened. But from the hospital they gave us back my other things with this ring and luckily Vansh don’t know about this ring still now. 

Sejal : So you think this is Vansh’s ring and he is only behind this??

Riddhima : Yes ( without any emotion ).

Sejal : Don’t you think…..

Before she can complete they hears Vansh is shouting in the drawing room.

Riddhima : You leave from the back door. I am going to see him.

Sejal : Okay.

Saying this Riddhima locks the room and leaves, while Sejal removes the photo frame of the queen. There is a hidden way behind it. She goes inside the tunnel and kept the frame again in it’s place. The tunnel ends in the backyard of the house. From there she leaves.

Meanwhile in Drawing Room,

Vansh : Riddhimaa!! Riddhima!! ( shouting ).

Riddhima comes,

Riddhima : What happened, why are you shouting???

Vansh :I have to say you something very important.

Riddhima : Say,….

Vansh closes his eyes to avoid eye contact and says : I want divorce from you……
