Love Never Confessed- OS by Tanvi

Hii everyone!! Second update!! Hope you all are doing well.✨✨

A little girl is holding her father’s hand and heading towards a big palace. She hesitates to go inside but her mother also comes and the trio enter the lavish fort.

‘Namaskaar Raja sahab. Ye hai hamari beti. Riddhima.’ Her father joined his hands and bent down along wih her mother infront of a lady and his husband who were properly looking the king and queen.

‘Riddhima. Naam bada pyaara hai. Isse Noor ke saath rakhenge. Kam jaldi seekh jaayegi.’

A girl in her 20s came and took Riddhima with her, little she didn’t know that it is the last time she is seeing her parents for the last time.

Little Riddhima was in a typical- rajasthani ghaghra choli, running in the corridor of the large fort. While running, she saw a boy around of her age running the opposite side, she turned back and looked at him; but he didn’t pay a heed and kept on his way.

The same fort, a girl was moving in rounds with her dupatta in air. She hears horn of a car and rushed towards the balcony. Her face isn’t visible as the dupatta blocks ker view.
She side the dupatta and sets it in her neck. She was our grown up Riddhima.

A servant opens the door of the car, and here comes a dashing man, in his business class 3 piece suit and the coat was in his hand. He comes down from the car and removes his shades. He was Vansh.

Riddhima’s cheeks went red seeing him, her lips curved into a wide smile and she turned around behind the pillar, being shy. She ran away from the balcony to the corridor.

Vansh was playing with a little girl, with her toys. He picked her up and swirled all around and kissed her cheeks. Riddhima was watching her from behind the curtains and smiled.

Vansh kept the girl down and she ran to Riddhima. Riddhima picked her up and she kissed on her cheeks. Riddhima too kissed her back and looks towards Vansh who turned and left without seeing her.

Scene changes again, Vansh was busy in a business meeting with his client and he stopped in the middle looking for a file. He stood up going towards the study to get the file.

Riddhima was in the study with the file moving to Vansh and they both collided at the door and the papers in the file flew everwhere, and Riddhima was in Vansh’s arms.

Both were adoring each other, when Riddhima’s dupatta slid down from her neck and Vansh left her abruptly resulting of her falling on the floor.

“Ouchh…” Riddhima stood up.

This was the first time, when Vansh heard her voice.

“I..I am sorry.” Vansh helped her in standing.

Same for Riddhima, not for his gestures, now she had fell for his voice even more…

“Why are you sorry kuwar sa. I am sorry. Your file is scattered.” Riddhima started picking all the papers while Vansh did the same. While picking the papers, there foreheads touched. Both of them stopped for a while, and closed there eyes.

“Riddhima!! Rani sa bula rahin hai!!” A voice came from far away and both of them parted.

Vansh stood up collecting the papers in the file. Riddhima too stood up tucking her hairs.

“Aayi Noori Didi!!”

Riddhima ran away from there in bullet speed, but her anklets, made a slow sound, sending a tingle sensation to Vansh.
Riddhima was running with her face all red in shyness, and she was smiling like she got her whole life to live with him.

“Pranam Raani Sa. Aapne mujhe yaad kiya?” Riddhima touched feets of Uma taking her blessings.

(Greetings Your majesty. You remembered me?)

“Kitni baar kaha hai meri beti Jaisi ho tum. Itna ‘proffesional‘ hone hi zaroorat nahi hai. Vansh ki shaadi tay ho gyi hai. Jodhpur ki Rajkumari Ragini se. Khoob jamegi jodi. Haina?” Uma asked her.

Riddhima felt someone crushed her heart but she smiled and nodded in yes.

It was the marriage day, only Noor knew that how much Riddhima was broken. She always kept herself engaged in work so she doesn’t get time to think about anything else. Riddhima was not even ready to attend the marriage. She was sitting in the kitchen, doing nothing. Tears welled up in her eyes but she wiped them before they could fall.

“You always knew this day will come Riddhima” she whispered to herself “you are just a mere servant abandoned by your parents. He is prince! How can you even… I never knew I wasn’t ready for this day.” Riddhima sobbed silently and Noor came running to her.

“Come with me! Fast!” Noor pulled her to Uma’s room. She was crying sitting on the bed.

“What happened Rani sa? Don’t cry please.” Riddhima tried to calm her down.

“Noor! Get her ready! Riddhima you have to marry Vansh. That Ragini and family denied for the marriage and the rituals are started. Please. Please marry Vansh. For our respect!” Uma joined her hands but Riddhima broke them off and nodded in yes.

Riddhima opens her eyes to look at herself at the mirror. She never imagined herself looking so beautiful!

“Noor Didi!” She squealed.

“I know. Your childhood dream is coming true.” Noor settled her veil covering her face.

“Will he accept me?”

Riddhima became anxious. The next moment, she was sitting next to Vansh, their hand in hand, and the pandit chanting mantras.

Uma lifted the will so Vansh can put sindoor, and she did. Vansh was as shocked as Riddhima. She was blank in her thoughts. She closed her eyes as Vansh applied vermilion and tied the nupital chain.

Riddhima was wandering in the room in her bridal attire, looking the bed and then at the couch. The door click opened and Vansh was standing there. His sehra was in his hands.
Riddhima stood in the corner of the room lika a statue while Vansh came and sat on the bed.

“I love you.” He said.

“I am sorry kuwar sa..I I…..What!?” Riddhima realised what he said.

Vansh craned his neck towards him, and repeated.

“I love you ”

Riddhima came near him taking slow steps and sat on her knees infront of him, she touched his forehead and Vansh chuckled.

“I think I am dreaming” Riddhima was going to ponch herself when Vansh pulled her and pecked her lips.

“You are not dreaming. And I love you.” He kissed on her cheeks.

“I love you too!!!” She swirled around in her bridal attire and dancing all around while Vansh was adoring her.

After a lot of dancing and then changing her clothes, Riddhima made herself comfortable on the bed next Vansh, but a little far away.

“I thought you will dump me like my parents.” She said.

“No.. You are the only one. (Winks) Good night sweetheart.” Vansh said and closed his eyes.

“Good night”

Riddhima blushed and turned the other side, and slept with a big smile. As Riddhima drifted to sleep, Vansh got up from the bed. He sat on his knees on Riddhima’s side of the bed, resting his chin on his hands.

(Flashback in italics)

When little Riddhima turn back after looking at him, little Vansh just stopped there, looking at her vanishing from there. He bent down and picked up a ghungroo fallen from her anklet.

Vansh opens the drawer which was near it and it was the same ghungroo. He moved it left to right and it made slow tinking sound.

Before descending from the car, Vansh wears his shades. He steps down and looks at Riddhima. He saw her being shy and running away.

Vansh was still sitting in the same position. He chuckled and tucked her hairs behind her ear.

After the little girl went to Riddhima, Vansh adored her the same. Smiled, and went away.

Vansh slowly takes off Riddhima’s earings talking to her.

“I was scared, that I will never get you. But destiny has it own plans.” Vansh whispered “I had to agree to marry that Ragini due to old Friendship. But she herself ran away.”

Vansh came back to the bed, and Riddhima turned to him and they both cuddled. Vansh too, drifted to sleep. Riddhima opens her eyes and giggles slowly.

“Even if destiny didn’t, I had my plans.”

Riddhima said and hugged him tightly.

Scene shows Ragini’s hands and legs tied, she was struggling to open it, she was tied to a tree in a dense jungle…..
