VR Mansion

Dadi descended the stairs after attending to Ishani’s tantrums. She was tired of it, tired of all the drama that went on in her house every day. She wasn’t feeling well as soon as Vansh and Riddhima had left for the temple, she had a different feeling inside her, somewhat frightened for the future, for them.  She went to the temple in their house and prayed to attain her inner peace.

After some time, the house phone rang which was attended by Angre who came running to pick it up. Listening to caller’s information he let out a shout in shock. He dropped the phone on the table and rushed out of the mansion as quick as he could. Tears had rolled down his face but he had to stay strong. He got to know about the accident that took place with Vansh and Riddhima on their way to the Kul Devi temple.

He reached the hospital from which he got the call and enquired about Vansh and Riddhima. The receptionist directed him to their ward and he met with the doctor who was waiting for him.

Angre: Doctor, is everything fine?

Doctor: He’s suffered from a head injury, chances are that he’d slip into coma. We are treating him for now and we’ll see later how he reacts to our treatment.

Angre: (tears) what about Riddhima Bhabhi?

Doctor: I’m sorry who? He was the only patient that was admitted here after the accident.

Angre: What! How’s that possible, was there no other patient, any female?

Doctor: No, only him.

Angre: Where’s Bhabhi? (worried)

On the other hand, Riddhima was rescued by a few residents in that area. They admitted her to the hospital seeing her condition. She was half dead by the time the doctors took her inside the Operation Theatre to treat her. Her case was extremely critical but the doctors found the solution to her wounds.

The doctor enquired about the people who brought Riddhima to the hospital. They agreed to be her guardian, therefore giving them her their surname without a second thought. An orphan had gotten a name behind her, the name that Vansh was planning to soon take away. They were Kritika and Saurabh.

Kritika: doctor we’ll take care of all her expenses behind her treatment.

Saurabh: Absolutely, she seems like a gentle and humble girl from a good family. When she wakes up we’ll introduce and ask her everything.

Doctor: That will only be possible if she remembers. There’s a high chance of her facing Anemia

Kritika: What! Means she won’t remember anything?

Doctor: Depends on how she reacts. The accident was fatal and due to the extreme height her face has been damaged.

Kritika: So now? (worried)

Doctor: We need to perform a surgery! A face surgery

Saurabh: then go ahead but she has to be alive, please!

Doctor: We’re doing our best!

The doctor again went inside the OT to perform a surgery on Riddhima while Kritika and Saurabh waited outside, praying hard for her recovery. It is truly said that “There are times when family become strangers and strangers become family” And it was a live example that was shown by Kritika and Saurabh, they were not related to Riddhima by blood but out of humanity they were ready to do anything to save her.

Kritika and Saurabh Sehgal, a middle class family lived happily together. They never allowed sorrows to enter their lives no matter what but just allowed entry to happiness. Kritika ran a tiffin business while Saurabh was working in a courier company. They together faced many hurdles in their relationship; Saurabh was a normal guy however Kritika hailed from a rich spoilt family but luckily she wasn’t like them. She believed that a person’s status cannot be a barrier between relations.

Her family, caring about the riches and pride towards their power and money disowned their own daughter due to her adamancy of marrying Saurabh, they loved each other truly! Kritika seizing the opportunity to be free from such a low thinking family ran with Saurabh, into a world of their own, made by love, care and trust.

While they both paced around outside the OT, praying and worrying, Angre informed the family about their accident and Vansh’s condition. They were in shock after hearing that Riddhima wasn’t brought along with Vansh to the hospital however Ishani and Aryan being who they were celebrated instead.

Dadi: Bappa please save Riddhima! (crying) Where has she gone? Angre please find her?

Angre: Yea dadi I’m contacting my sources…you please calm down.

Ishani: It is fine dadi, just let that low class, gold digger to stay wherever she is. At least we’ll be in peace! (smirking) You should in fact worry for Bhai!

Dadi: Ishani, shut up! Don’t you have any bit of humanity left! (scolding) I wonder how the accident was caused

Angre: Dadi, we did an entire check and we found that the breaks were failed, someone from here had tempered with them. Now we just need to find who did it! (anger) I’m not going to spare them

Kabir: (in his mind) Vansh and Riddhima, what did you think huh? After snatching everything from me you’ll be able to live with your love, not possible!

Just then Angre received a call from one of his informers who briefed him about the entire accident. He even mentioned the possibilities on why Riddhima wasn’t found and some were; Riddhima have fallen in the cliff, animals might have fed on her in the dense forest and some people might have rescued her.

Angre hung up the call and thought about it, he shuddered at the thought of his sister-like Bhabhi being eaten up or attacked by wild animals. He got teary at all of the thoughts as well what he would answer Vansh when he would wake up. All he wanted was to get to Riddhima anyhow and save her, to fulfill the promise he made to her of “always protecting her”.

The doctor arrived after treating Vansh, he had a straight face on which everyone turned serious and anxious. He informed that he had……………….
