Starts

Vansh quickly took Dadi’s blessings and sat in the car. He took the wheel and waited for Riddhima to finish with Dadi. Riddhima was slightly hurt by his behavior, the ignore game that he played. She took Dadi’s blessings and hugged her tight. Dadi caressed her back and wished her

Dadi: All the best my dear, I’m sure he won’t stay upset for long. Take care, and come back soon.

Riddhima: I will dadi, bye

As she was about to get into the car she saw a face peeping from the far distance, smirking. She immediately recognized it; Kabir. He smirked but as soon as he saw Riddhima looking at him he went away swiftly. Riddhima brushed off the thoughts and she sat in the car to see Vansh looking straight ahead with a straight face, with no emotions showing. Had he really become stone-hearted just because Riddhima didn’t manage to kill Kabir?

Without even waiting for her to settle down properly, he started the car and drove off. There was complete silence between them. Riddhima soon took out her shawl from her mini bag and draped it around herself as she started feeling cold. She looked outside the window and smiled seeing a family happily walking and enjoying the streets. Her smile took Vansh’s attention and he followed her gaze to the family.

Vansh: We would have been there right now Riddhima if you would have killed Kabir and proven how true your love for me was, we would have been there if you hadn’t betrayed my but your actions took away all those glorious moments from our lives. thinking)

Riddhima: Vansh….Vansh! (breaking his trance)

Vansh: hmm

Riddhima: How much more time to go?

Vansh: Not much long, around one and a half hour

There was once again silence between them, Vansh focusing on the driving while Riddhima suffering from the loneliness. She rested her head against the seat and closed her eyes reminiscing their moments together. The moments where there was space for only love and happiness and space for care and concern. She reminisced all the festivals and their special memories while they danced together, when she fell in trouble how he always protected her and saved her but that was disturbed by another memory when he confessed that he was the one who did the attacks on her with the help of Ahaana.

She immediately opened her eyes, not wanting to think about it any further. She was tired of this silence that had been hovering upon them in the car so she switched the radio on and increased the volume. The radio jockey talked about life and how life should be treasured. He played the song

Riddhima smiled listening to the song and remembered her days that she spent with her best friend Sejal. She turned to Vansh and decided to break the silence by trying to pacify him.

Riddhima: Vansh please talk to me, don’t stay upset like this. I don’t like it at all. It hurts me when I see you not talking to me or when I see you ignoring me like you have been doing. Am I that bad? (emotional)

Vansh didn’t answer but he felt hurt when she said it. He avoided to look at her because he knew he would break down and forget about his revenge.

Riddhima: Really Vansh….so I’m bad, right that’s why my parents left me in the orphanage, they were right….your sister was also right. (emotional and hurt) Your silence indicates everything.

Vansh continued being silent but in his heart he felt pain when he heard his love saying such about herself, when he heard his love trying to prove what his sister had said. “She wasn’t supposed to bring her parents in this” he thought.

Riddhima: I know Vansh I wasn’t able to do what you asked but it’s impossible for me to kill someone!

Vansh: You came to me, you entered into my life on his saying….wasn’t that impossible for you? (Vansh in anger)

Riddhima: Look at the scenarios Vansh, what’s bigger? Killing someone right! Okay fine (calming down) Vansh please don’t stay upset with me, I’ll do anything to Kabir but kill someone whether it’s Kabir or not. Don’t stay upset with me, I can’t handle it!

She got no answer from Vansh, she sighed and continued.

Riddhima: Vansh, jaan you heard what the radio jockey said right….treasure life. Let’s do it then, let’s be us and forget everything. (requesting) Life is unpredictable, anything can happen anytime, life is too short.

Vansh: We’re almost there (he said, ignoring her)

Riddhima gave up and sat back properly. She closed her eyes to prevent the tears that wanted to free themselves from falling. She didn’t want to fall weak so soon, she had made her mind to pacify him anyhow. After some time Vansh’s shriek disturbed her and she looked on

Vansh: Shit! (in anger)

Riddhima: What happened Vansh? (curious)

Vansh: The brakes, they aren’t working!

Riddhima: What! (nervous)

Riddhima remembered Kabir hiding near the car.

Riddhima: Jump Vansh!

Vansh: Are you mad? Have you seen the road, it’s so narrow and we are at a high altitude, on the mountains!

Riddhima: We have no other option than this

Vansh: You go first then! Go! (he shouted with care and concern)

Riddhima saw a truck heading from the front and she quickly unbuckled Vansh’s belt and pushed him out of the semi open door that he had kept ready. He fell outside with a lot of force and hit his head on the rocks hard. He saw what happened next with a blurred vision and tried shouting. Riddhima was still stuck in the car when she pushed Vansh out. Before she could do anything, the truck and their car collided, meeting with a fatal accident.

Due to the extreme force of the truck, the car was pushed at the end of the road, falling down in the deep cliff below the mountains. One side on the road there lay Vansh, who was unconscious with blood oozing out from his head and on the other side Riddhima had fallen in to the cliff with the car.
