Its next morning. Kartik and Naira are woken by the crying sound of Rhea and rush down. They see Rhea in kithcen with her arm bleeding

Kartik: What happened Rhea?

Rhea: I cut myself when I went to prepare kachoris

Kartik: Pushkar apply medicine for her

Rhea: But..

Kartik: Ill call the doctor

Rhea in a whisper to Naira: See he is concerned for me

Naira narrates the happenings

Surekha: What happened?

Gayu looks at  Naira and they smile sarcastically at Rhea.

Rhea walks off and calls someone

voice: Haan madam

Rhea: Good

Later that evening

Surekha panics on not finding Rhea

Surekha: Rhea is missing for so long..her mobile is switched off too.
Suddenly the Landline rings. Kartik takes it. He puts the call on speaker

Voice: Rhea is with us…dont go to police just bring 25 lakhs to the hills and get her back

Kartik: Dont worry chachi I will bring her

Naira: I will come too Kartik

Kartik: But Naira…

Naira: Please…

Kartik: Acha ok ok..come

Both Kartik and Naira leave with the cash. On the way

Kartik: Who do you think this is?

Kartik and Naira reach the hills. The get off the car with a car and walk up the hills. Naira slips and Kartik holds her hand.

Rhea watches this from a distance and stamps her feet

Rhea in mind: This Naira is way too clever..she is here with Kartik..now what will I do..?

Kartik: Hello….is anyone here? Im here with the cash

Rhea to someone: Go and distract Kartik and get Naira captive..I have changed my plan and will finish off Naira

The goons approach Naira with a log. They aim at her but the log hits Kartik on his head. He falls with a thud, Naira is enraged seeing her Kartik hurt. Like a lioness she pounces on the goons and thrashes them. Once they run off Naira runs to Kartik. She pulls him on her lap

Naira: Karitk….kartik…are you alright

Kartik slowly gets up and Cups Naira’s face

Kartik: Why did you thrash them like that?

Naira: Aur kya how dare they hurt my Kartik..you are mine and I have every right to keep you safe and fight for you.

They hug forgetting why they went there. Rhea plans her next move.
