CHAPTER 37: INTERLINKED?

SCENE 1: Abhi tries to instigate vansh…

Vansh: You seem to know a lot about my heart! Well, the owner of this heart knows the truth, that she loves me!

Abhi: We will see about that too…

Vansh leaves and comes into their room just to find riddhima crying..he goes near her and gives her his handkerchief like a gentleman that he is!

Vansh: Take this..

Riddhima: *she takes it* Vansh…

Vansh: Yes..

Riddhima: You know that you can ask the question that is on your mind..

Vansh: What question?

Riddhima: We both very well know which question..

Vansh: The fact that you know the question, explains that the same question is going on in your mind…but still i will ask it…do you want to go away with him..if yes,then i will arrange for the divorce papers…you don’t have to worry about the lawyers and all…you will get the money…

Riddhima: *she sees him with a disgusted look* WOW! So now you will only decide everything? And money? Seriously?? Do you think that low of me?

Vansh: Riddhima..

Riddhima: No don’t say anything! I don’t know about you, but i respect my relationship..with you and this family..i accept that i loved him..but now.

Vansh: You love me?

Riddhima: But now, i am married to you…and i am not one of those people who will divorce you just because her boyfriend came back..if everyone leaves like that then more than half of the marriages will end in divorce…abhi is my past, and you are my present and future…you thought that you can get rid of me so easily?? If you thought so that is your biggest mistake Mr.Vansh Raisinghania! You have failed to understand me!

Vansh: Oh please riddhima! If he doesn’t matter, then i guess you shouldn’t be affected this *points towards her condition* This affected by his words!

Riddhima: Wow so now you will even tell me how i should behave and how my feelings should be when someone hurts me! Amazing!

Someone knocks on the door…and vansh opens it to find abhi..

Vansh: What are you doing here??

Abhi: I need to talk with riddhima…

Riddhima: Abhi, whatever it is i guess it can wait a little, i am talking with vansh..

Vansh: You know what! Both of you talk happily, i will leave!

Vansh leaves…

Riddhima: Vansh don’t you dare walk away from this conversation! *he stills walks away* And yet after my warning you walk away!

Abhi: Riddhima, is everything alright? Is there anyway i can help?

Riddhima: Oh please! In which way you think you can help even? That too in a husband wife relationship! And you asked my problem right? Guess what! You are my problem, you coming into my life was a big problem! But sorry, to say i really wish you were dead at this moment, so get out!!!

Abhi leaves and goes to his room

Abhi: No riddhima you shouldn’t have tested me! I came back for you and you! You wished i was dead? Till now my plan was to separate you both, but now i will make you wish why are you even alive! *calls nithya*

Nithya: Oh look who decided to call! My dumb brother…

Abhi: You were right! Riddhima doesn’t give a damn about me! I will help you in the plan!

Nithya: Wow finally my brother realised that he is not such a tonto afterall! (google tonto, fun activity)

Abhi: Are you done? Can we get on with the plan? Let’s kill vansh! Tonight they have a party, so it’s the best chance to kill him..

Nithya: Yeah sounds like a plan, what made you change your mind?

Abhi: Just someone’s behaviour which was not so pleasing, anyway i will call you later to let you know the details!

Riddhima: What details?

Abhi turns around

Abhi: Um..nothing..i actually was declared dead right? So, just some law issues..

Riddhima: I came here to apologise, about the morning incident i didn’t mean to hurt you…vansh has been tough nut to crack, i am still getting to know him…and you know the usual husband wife fights…

Abhi: Yeah no worries..but don’t you think vansh has been a little harsh to you? In my matter? Constantly doubting you and all?

Riddhima: It’s justified, if his ex-girlfriend came back i would be bound to have such insecurities, it depends upon me if i could make that insecurity go away or not…anyway get ready for the party ok?

Abhi: Yeah sure!

SCENE 2;- Vansh was getting ready for the party when he came out of the room to find riddhima, in a stunning white saree…and vansh was wearing a black suit..

Vansh: That saree is mom’s right?

Riddhima: Yes…ma gave it to me..she said it will look much better on me..Vansh can we stop the small talk? I need to talk with you!

Vansh: What is left to say anyway…

He leaves…

Vansh: Abhi?? Come have a drink with me brother!

Abhi: I will come later…

Vansh: No, no please come, we have a little chat to do…

He comes in and takes place in a couch…

Abhi: Is it about riddhima again?

Vansh: No, lets keep her out of this shall we? I wanted to talk to you about your treatment…run me through the chain of events after you were sent to hospital…

Abhi: I already told you right, i was..

Vansh: No, no, no exactly how it all happened actually start from the point where you, were stabbed, we didn’t have much time back then…so i didn’t get the chain of events correctly…tell me from the point how you reached that abandoned place and got stabbed and came back alive….

Abhi: I was in a hotel, for a meeting when few people thought that i was you, since you were also visiting the same hotel…and they kidnapped me &

Vansh: And then rudra got a message about “my” whereabouts which led me to that place where you were taken…

Abhi: By the time you came, they thought it was you and stabbed me…

Vansh: Stabbed?? Are you sure?? I guess it was a bullet?

Abhi: No…i think i was stabbed!

Vansh: Are you dam sure, because i guess i saw a bullet!

Abhi: I remember i was stabbed…and then you sent me in a ambulance…and according to the nurses….when they were taking me to the morgue someone noticed my pulse was still slightly there…and saved me rest of it you know…

Vansh: Weird! What i know and what you are telling me doesn’t quite match! Are you still sure that was you were stabbed? You were shot! I remember! That you got shot!

Abhi: *gritting his teeth* NO vansh! I remember i was stabbed!

Vansh: I guess you have mistaken! You were barely alive, so let’s just accept you are wrong!

Abhi: I said i was stabbed!!

Vansh: And how do you know that!

Abhi: Because i inserted the damn knife! So yeah! I know and boo you are wrong you drunken idiot!!

Vansh: *straightens himself as if he was never drunk* Are you sure am i a drunken idiot? Oooh you might want to be careful with the words you use man! You never know which words will hurt the other person!

Riddhima: SO it was all just a plan? And you never died! My guess was correct!

Abhi: Riddhima?? No, there is nothing like that, i can explain!
