In the Name of Love (Ishq Mein Marjawan 2) – Preface

Fierce winds kept blowing making eerie noises. The beautiful full moon was now covered up with gigantic dark clouds. It was so dark that the only source of light was the lightning, that flashed now and then. A huge storm was going to arrive that night, not only into the city, but also into the lives of some people.

But oblivious to all this were two persons, who were busy arguing with each other on top of the terrace of a six storeyed building. As things got heated up, their voices grew louder and louder.

Person 1 : If you will agree to that which I’ve asked for, then I will have no problem in doing that which you want from me. Deal?

Person 2 : Over my dead body!

Person 1 : Why not? In this way we both will get what we wished for.

Person 2 : (angrily) I have never in my life seen as greedy as a person as you. You are even ready to use your loved ones for your own selfish motives. You are doing this all for money right? I’ll give you how much ever you ask for, just quote your damn price!

Person 1 : I don’t want any money. Just give me what I want.

Person 2 : Never! Your greed has already spoiled many lives. I won’t let you spoil more.

Person 2 : So did you expect that I would just stay mute and not do anything when you would snatch my love from me? Listen, I’m not the one to stay quiet.

Person 1 : (laughing) Your love? Hahaha! The one whom you are referring to as “your” love, has already become mine long ago by mind, by soul and by body.

Person 2 : (trying to slap the other) How dare you?

Just then a scuffle broke out between the two. They both had their hands on each other, each trying to overpower the other. They were inching closer and closer to the edge. Suddenly a loud shriek was heard. Now only one person remained on the terrace out of the two, who looked on with a shocked face, while the other fell deep down to his doom.

Hi guys! This is my first fanfiction here. I intend to make it a romantic thriller, but with more suspense than the romance. You might find some similarities with the original, but I’ll try my best to keep it as different as possible. The characters will be introduced as the story progresses. Do comment below.
