Kartik ( Mohsin Khan’s) life in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai will take a new turn after Naira’s (Shivangi Joshi) death. We can already see Shivangi Joshi in her new avatar as a boxer in the promos but it will be some time before she enters Kartik’s life.
Priyamvada Kant is the new entry in the show who will be playing Kartik’s love interest. According to a source of BT, “The story will be all about Kartik again falling in love with Naira lookalike but to create twists and turns the makers have roped in Priyamvada Kant to be cast opposite Mohsin Khan.”
Priyamvada was last seen playing a cameo in ‘Naagin 5’. She had a romantic role opposite Sharad Malhotra in the show. As per a reliable source, “Priyamvada’s character Rhea will soon make her entry into the Goenka house.”
Priyamvada is known for his work in shows like ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, ‘Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera’ and ‘Tenali Rama’. In an interview with BT, she had said, “I definitely want to do more reality shows but would go back to TV because that’s where I belong to. I owe my career to TV. I do have a movie coming up.”
