Imli is on of the shows which comes from the finesse of Gul Khan. The makers of popular shows Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam, Ishqbaaaz, and Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka are ready to create magic once again with this new show titled Imli. It has already been reported in the media that Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani will play the lead pair in the show. Also, Mayuri Deshmukh has been roped in to play the parallel lead in the show.
Gul Khan, the producer of the shows shared the promo on her social media and the story is as interesting as it gets. The show feels like a breath of fresh air and can be the next big show on our TV screens.
As this show comes from Four Lions Films which is knownfor creating great shows on TV, it looks like we have a promising show in store. Four Lions Films has delivered memorable shows like Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Ishqbaaz, along with its current running show Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn ka, which is loved beyond measure by fans.

Another remake….. Star Plus is now going behind remakes of Star Jalsha shows. Except Lockdown Ki love story and YRKKH, all shows are either copy (YJHJk, SM) , remakes (GHKKPM, SNS, Imlie) or spin-offs(YHC) . Only Shaadi Mubarak was worth watching. Don’t know about Ghum but rest are either boring or depressing…
Can’t believe how SNS got such a huge opening and Ghum hai is also in Top 5.
But we have to accept that producers are giving chances to newbies. That too big producers like Gul, Ekta, Rashmi (they never gave chance to newbies in their previous shows)….
Gul casted Surbhi Jyoti in Qubool hai as lead who was completely new to television. Look today she is one of the most highest paid actresses and she has worked hard for that. But the cast of this Imli doesn’t seem to impress me. They will have to prove themselves if they are truly worthy.
I think Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 is a spin-off. Gopi and her family are only there for promotion. They will eventually leave and the rest of the series will be about Gehna and Anant.
I can’t believe this show is Gul’s!! I expected a lot better after delivering such great shows like QH season 1
