Scene 1
Harleen says this is a big thing Sarab. I don’t matter to you anymore. Sarab says it isn’t like that. I can’t be unfair to my second child. Harleen says you keep slippers in feet not put it on your head. Meher comes in and says di is right. You have given my child name, nothing is more important than that. You let this slipper in your foot. Harleen says this is our family matter. Sarab says it was my decision. I decided it. Harleen says so I am no one in your decisions? This is my order that either cut her child’s name from the papers or forget that you ever had a sister. She leaves. Sarab says di please listen. Meher is in tears.
Kulwant comes to Harleen says I heard you’re really angry? You have been very mad? Are you mad at me or your money slipping out of your hands? I told you, you only need Sarab’s money and now look at you crying for it. I got sweets for Meher. It’s healthy in pregnancy. Harleen says the day isn’t far when you and your daughter both will be exposed. Kulwant laughs and says wonderful ji wonderful.
Meher says I only tried to tie this house together. Now two siblings are fighting because of me. Harleen thinks I asked you for the property. I don’t want anything. Please name everything to Sarab. Harleen recalls what Sarab said. Dolly comes to her and says it’s cold outside. You’re using your anger at right place. You being mad at Sarab. Harleen says Sarab has changed. Dolly says no Sarab loves you. Kulwant says to Sarab you’re my son. No mother would want his son’s home to be broken. My husband used to say you should always give up on wealth for your family. I beg you give Harleen what she wants. She is your only sister. You should listen to whatever she says.
Dolly says you siblings have faced everything together. Kulwant says I know you want good for both of your kids. But you think for Harleen too. I will always pray for your happiness. Harleen cries and says Sarab has changed. He doesn’t care about the sister who brought him up like a mother. Sarab looks at her photo and says di is my decision bigger than our siblings’ relationship? He cries. Harleen is crying as well. Dolly says I told you not to get Sarab married in a family like them.

Meher is in the kitchen. She says to the cook ask Harleen what to cook in the dinner. Harleen brings her out and says either leave my brother or abort this child. Do you remember the promise you made to me? You have cracked my relation with my brother. Meher says I can never do that. Harleen says it was my mistake that I trusted you. Not anymore. You don’t have to do this drama for our wealth. Take all this, she shoves jewelry and money on her. She says what else do you and your mother want to leave us? Let us live. Take all this but get out of our lives. Meher says only this? Harleen is shocked. Harleen says see this is your worth. Meher says you forgot one thing, there is a locker like this in my room too and you gave me the keys. If I wanted wealth, I would have taken it. I have lost your trust and this responsibility. Until I win your trust back, I can’t take this responsibility. She returns her the keys. Harleen says I won’t give you another chance. I am not an idiot. Leave our lives. Get out.
Meher says according to your condition I still have 7 days. Till then I am going anywhere. If I had to, I would have left the first day. But I didn’t go because I won’t let this family break. If I fail, this would be my greatest failure. Harleen says then prepare for your failure.
Precap-Harleen says I am leaving this house and that is final. Sarab says please don’t go. Harleen says either I would go or we will divide the wealth. Sarab is shocked.

someone should put Harleen in her place. Meher kept Robbie’s secret. I think Sarab and Meher should tell Harleen the truth about her husband. Then her attitude will probably come right. Meher should not take so much abuse from her. It irritates me that Sarab acts like he is dumb. I don’t understand why Harleen wants a share in Sarab’s property. It is rightfully Param’s and Meher’s. How can a sibling demand shares in property. If anyone is after money it is Harleen Dolly and Robbie.
