Last seen in Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, actor Mrunal Jain is climbing the ladder to success too fast. The actor has been on a sabbatical from the TV industry from last two years and was not a part of any show as well. It had the viewers thinking that he is not returning any time soon. But he was working behind the scenes and today we got to know where.
Talking about his absence to Bombay Times, Mrunal said,”I was not missing from TV on purpose; it was either a case of not being offered the right role, or the offers not materializing. I must have auditioned for around eight shows, but couldn’t bag any role. I felt that I was not taken seriously as an actor, and my recognition was limited to my six-pack abs.”
Fortunately, his mindfulness and his patience brought to him the thing he was dreaming about. Mrunal has bagged not one, but two films from our Bollywood industry. Apart from being signed on as a villain in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, he will also be seen in a pivotal role in ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’. Talking about it, he says, “When I was struggling to bag a TV show, films were not on my mind at all. However, destiny had some other plans and I was finalized for not one, but two movies.”
It was his dream to work with Rohit Shetty and it’s now coming true. He says that he feels lucky to share screen space with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn as well. What he thought was bringing him down and over shadowing his acting skills, his physicality, brought him a great role in Sooryavanshi.
