Dhananand captures Mura and taunts that he thought she would play hide and seek with him for a long time, but disappointed him. She got caught because of her traitor son, now he will take her to Pataliputra and torture her so much that she would have not imagined in life. Chandragupta confronts Chanakya and asks how can he leave his mother Mura in Chandragupta’s grip, how can he betray him, Dhananand had captured her queen mother 12 years ago and made her serve him like a servant, now he will torture her more than before. Dhananand drags Mura to market and orders citizens to throw their footwear on this kshatrani. Everyone throw footwear on Mura except one. Dhananand orders to execute him and taunts Mura that this is the beginning of her torture.
Chandragupta tells Chanakya that he made a mistake by trusting him like Martand. Chanakya says Martand acted as per plan and is Chandragupta’s most trusted friend. He explains his plan that let Dhananand’s cruelty reach its peak, then Chandragupta can make Dhananand fall in his people’s eyes and kill him in front of all citizens and take revenge. He explains plan to kidnap Durdhara.
Amartya rakshas walks to Durdhara. Durdhara asks when did he return from Paraspura, how is Dhananand. Amartya rakshas says king is fine and sent to inform him that he has reached Pataliputra from Paraspura. Durdhara asks what about slave Chandragupta. Amartya rakshas says he is safe, but they have captured his pinching nerve his mother Mura and she is being tortured brutally by king. Durdhara says she wants to go there immediately. Amartya rakshas says he cannot permit her. Durdhara says giving permission is her right and not his and nobody can stop her form attending her brother’s celebration.
Dhananand dances on music and asks people to insult Mura more. Citizens shout Mura is desh drohi/traitor. Dhananand ties Mura to a wooden T bar, says must be thirsty, and orders servants to get water for Mura. Servants throw water on Mura. Mura asks if he thinks she will accept defeat so easily, he is a fool, her son will turn his celebration into mourning, she will drink water from Dhananand’s hands and her son will force Dhananand for that. On the other side, Baldev asks Chandragupta not to worry as they will rescue Mura soon. Chandragupta says they all know what to do and when. They all wear similar masks. Chandragupta thinks he will snatch Dhananand’s most beloved sister Durdhara.
Chanakya Niti: Chanakya chants sanskrit verse that where woman is respected, gods stay in that place and where she is disrespected, god’s curse stays there; so a woman can bring both pride and disgrace in a man’s life.
Precap: Durdhara asks Mura where is Chandragupta. Mura says she will never find Chandragupta. Chandragupta kidnaps Durdhara saying real fight will start now.
