CHAPTER 1 – HOW OUR PATHS CROSSED 

Twinkle’s POV 

“Arman when will you be back home ?” I asked looking at my husband who was getting ready “Twinkle listen I would be late so don’t wait for me “ He said rather rudely “Its our anniversary” I pleaded “Twinkle Its an important meeting I have to attend it baby “ he said kissing me and I slowly pulled him down for more my hands slid around his neck while his hands moved from my thigh slowly towards the knot of my night gown when his damm phone rang and broke our moment “Hello” Arman answered while I played with his shirts buttons “Yeah Yeah I will be there in 30 minutes “Arman said moving my hands away from his shirt and he stood up and left taking his bag while I fell back on bed 

I am Twinkle Luthra a music director and my husband Arman Luthra owns a company its his family company in London we have been married for like 10 years and we were happy up until the fertility test.It seems my uterus is a hostile environment but then my husband loves me so much that he does not care but I do want to adopt a child just to complete our family.It’s just that he has been busy lately and I don’t think he would appreciate a child when he has all this stuff with the business and all.Today I was going to take him out for the whole day we would have lunch at his favourite restaurant and then we would go to the orphanage which his Mom started and then on our way to the party after we have s*x while dressing up and then I would ask him about the adoption thing but now maybe I would then have to ask him about that when we have s*x after the party 

Me and Arman were childhood friends his parents and my parents are childhood buddies too it was when my father left my mom for another women  and his mother died due to Cancer since then his father helped me and my mom with everything he could and then me and Arman got close and before we know we were dating and though I did not love him then but I do love him now we got married in the worlds most beautiful destination wedding I could ever have. My life is just so amazing but then I don’t feel happy its like after the fertility test Arman has just started to be more distanced then he ever was I just hope today we could come close and give our marriage a new start.

Kunj’s POV 

“For f**k sakes Kunj you should tell him to not interfere in our lives” Mahi yelled at me “Mahi he is my brother” I said getting up from the bed and putting my shirt on and Mahi was putting on her robe before I could open the door “Bhai I got a job in the company I wanted to the salary is amazing and they are giving me an apartment” UV my younger brother told me excitedly “Thats good for you well now you can at least let us live in peace” Mahi said rudely “Mahi” I said “What Kunj you know thats the truth right at least now I don’t have to take care of two unemployed guys” she said walking to the bathroom “Don’t pack lunch for me today I having lunch outside and don’t wait for me at dinner I am going out with some friends from work” she said before closing the door 

“Hey UV good luck and you can stay as long as you want she doesn’t mean those things she is just tired and stressed” I said “Isn’t she always well thanks bhai and Happy Wedding Anniversary” he said and left 

Me and Mahi have been married for over 10 yeas we did engineering together in India we got married early and then we submitted college forms in the UK but after we did our post graduation I never took up a job it was not my passion me and someone of my friends started a band but it did not work out and Mahi became distant ever since then she became this ambitious women she wasn’t before UV moved in with us a few years before and is living with us since then initially Mahi did not say anything to us but then she started being hostile towards UV we had to pay for UV’s personal expenses Mahi used to pay for them but then she stopped I had to pay for him so I had to I sang on the Streets in bars and in every f**king place I could earn money from

TWINKLES POV 

I have to go collect Arman’s gift I custom made it for him and then apparently I am supposed to go the saloon and get ready put on shit and smile infront of cameras I never liked it I always wanted it to be an intimate event where only me and Arman could enjoy it

I should have known Arman would have brought me he got me a f**king Dimond ring and a music company of my own it was all pretentious and I know it but our status matters I know it but I just don’t want it to turn our love into the pretentious one my parents shared I refused to show my gift but then I had to so keeping my real gift aside I gave him the key of a car he loved and then the fake gaps of surprises and aww of cuteness we kissed It was our deal I picked a diamond ring I loved though the music company was his idea the car was something he picked 

We had a dance the first dance of the night there was a singer who was amazing he had such a wonderful voice he could be star if given the right exposure 

After the dance I walked up to the band but apparently the singer left I went out of the hall and in the hallway I meet this man I crashed into him and before I could fall he saved me his eyes had the sadness a singer needs 

“Hey thanks for saving me I am Twinkle Luthra” I said bringing my hand forward for a handshake “I am Kunj Sarna ” he said giving me a handshake with a charming smile I remember him he is the guy whose music was the one which made me change course mid term from business management to arts he was in our college band ….  

I had 2 glasses of vine in my hand apparently one for the lady I was talking to but now it was for Kunj so I offered him it and he took it we sat there on the stair way of the  hall and over the glass of vine we spoke our hearts out our story his wife is a real b*t*h “Kunj I own a freecking Music company “ I asked a rhetorical question to which the idiot answered a yes by nodding “How could I have not thought about this before would you want to be the lead singer of my company ?” I asked him to which that dumb nodded not really knowing what he was doing “ Idiot I am giving you a job hell asking you if you want one “ I rephrased myself The look of realisation on his face made him look so adorable he hugged me so tight but it made me feel safe safer then I could ever be Its my anniversary and I am spending it with my a stranger and not my husband or family and I liked it I felt it was right but am I ? This is how we first met how our twisted paths crossed

Hey guys so you see Kunj could find something good with another women because Mahi is a b*t*h but why Twinkle why would she do that want answers to your questions wait for the story to unfold 

Declaration- I do not  believe in extramarital affair but I love my characters and you cannot judge them Nothing much has happened now but the future episodes may unfold the secrets which need to be unfolded and then maybe you would still find my characters unreasonable and don’t expect a reason from them it has no meaning to it they are grey shade characters and apparently do things for no reason.
