Woman inspector stops everyone. Panchayat head says its our matter so leave. Inspector says you cant force a girl to be with any man. Head says she destroyed our respect. Roop says she is my sister and have right to live her life, we will decide in family court. Inspector says to Shamsher that this is happening with you here? She says if anyone tries to hurt Jigna and Manish then they will be arrested, dont take law in hand. Roop takes Jigna and Manish from there.
Roop brings Jigna to court and says dont be scared, we are with you. Shamsher comes there and glares at them.
They all sit in court. Judge comes and starts case. Lawyer says Jigna wants to take divorce due to domestic violence. Dinesh’s lawyer says that Jigna did so many mistakes but he loves her so much that he is ready to accept her. He calls elder member of panchayat, man says we saw Jigna running away with her lover, she has an extra-marital affair. Samru recalls how he gave money to lawyer of Roop. Judge takes break. Roop asks his lawyer why he didnt question? Lawyer says then they will prove her affair.
Jigna cries. Ishika says its not her fault. Kamla says I didnt say anything to her but running away with another man? its not my upbringing, she leaves. Jigna cries. Ishika says dont worry, we are with you, I dont know why lawyer didnt say anything but Roop will handle everything. Roop hears it and looks on.
Case starts again, lawyer calls Shamsher. Kamla asks Shamsher to not say anything in court, we will handle this issue in our house. Lawyer asks Shamsher if his daughter is innocent? Shamsher says she is not my daughter anymore, I am ashamed to be her father, I thought to send her back to her husband but she kept lying that they are cruel, she tried to runaway from inlaws, she is a shame for us. Roop says enough, she is your blood, choose your words wisely. Judge asks him to stop it. Judge says we give last chance to Jigna. Roop stands up and says I want to say something. Judge says say what you want to. Roop takes Jigna to front. He says take off your ghunghat. All look on. Jigna takes it off. Roop says look at her wound and marks, it shows how much pain she had to bear, this husband didnt feel her pain? Panchayat head says he loves her too. Roop says this is injustice, no wife have to bear violence, they dont marry devils, I want you to end their relation, Dinesh beat her so much and I couldnt do anything, many women face this but we remain silent because we think that girl should die in inlaws house only, this is making us weak, I am talking here as a brother, I want to protect my sister, I want to ask for justice, if she doesnt get justice today then women will fail again. Kamla stands up and says he is right. She says I was against divorce but there is a limit to bear pain, I am sorry Jigna. Jigna hugs her and cries. All women stand up in support of Jigna. Judge says I never saw this before, we decide that Jigna is innocent and has right to have freedom, all women have right to take their decisions, Dinesh have to pay fine and divorce Jigna. He ends case and leaves. Roop hugs Jigna. Dinesh signs on divorce papers.
PRECAP- Shamsher grabs Manish and says you destroyed my daughter’s life, I wont spare you. Roop says leave him, law has given decision, you might not come but they are getting engaged tomorrow.
Panchayat says to Shamsher that you didnt do anything but we will not remain silent, lets meet tomorrow. Dinesh says yes.
