Karn’s aunt thinks Kasturi will prepare maha prasad and will win. Kasturi smirks thinking nobody likes Uruvi, she will lose. Karn’s aunts give dry fruits and ghee, Radha gives sugar, and Karn gives gram flour to Kasturi. Kasturi thinks she got all ingredients of maha prasad, Uruvi will get nothing. Uruvi walks next, and aunts show empty thali. Kasturi thinks why don’t Uruvi accept defeat. Radha gives sugar and Karn gives only water. Aunt laughs that Uruvi cannot make anythign with just sugar and water. Uruvi confronts Karn again that he did partiality. He says he is wrongly alleging her. She says he gave gram flour to Kasturi and only water to her, it clearly shows that he does not want her to win, but she will fail his plan. Karn walks away angrily and seeing Radha asks what is she doing here. She asks she can see his changed behavior towards Uruvi, why is he doing this when he loves Uruvi. Maid informs Pandit is calling for pooja.
Uruvi and Kasturi brinng their prepared prasad. Aunts think Uruvi must have brought empty bowl. Uruvi shows batasha/sugar candies while Kasturi shows besan laddoos. Radha says Uruvi is very talented and prepared mahaprasad with just sugar and water. Courtier praises Uruvi. kasturi drops her jewelry and in lieu of picking it silently keeps lamp close to Uruvi’s bowl. Aunt says who will eat batashe instead of dry fruit laddoo. Radha says faith is checked and not food. Karn asks Pandit to tell which prasad is superior. Pandit says both prasads are superipor and can be served. Uruvi picks her bowl and drops it feeling it hot. Karn asks Kasturi to serve prasad. Uruvi stops Kasturi and alleges that she kept lamp near prasad to heat the bowl, so she cannot serve prasad. Karn yells to not to show her jealousy and allege Kasturi wrongly. Kasturi acts that she does not need any patrani designation or wealth, she just needs her husband. Karn pronounces that Kasturi won first competition, and next competition will be held tomorrow.
Kasturi and her father rejoice their victory. Uruvi sits crying in her room holding her burnt hand. Karn enters and applies herbal paste on her hand. She emotionally asks why did he come. He says he does not want her to give excuse tomorrow due to her hand burn and she has to participate tomorrow. Uruvi stands shattered hearing that.
Uruvi then serves Radha and feeds her food. Radha asks if she is not sad after losing, how can she be so patient. Uruvi says just like her, she hated her before, but now loves her. Radha smiles and drinks soup. Their bonding continues..
Percap: Uruvi sees a suspicious person spoiling painting and is shocked to see Karn. Karn says when she has caught him red-handed, he wants to clear that he wants Kasturi to win and become patrani/chief queen.
