Mishti stood right behind them. Kunal moves towards her but Mauli stops him and takes Mishti inside to sleep together.
It was night, Mishti was still awake. Mauli wonders if she heard something, and offers to tell Mishti a story. Mishti asks why Pari’s papa came here? Mauli says he wanted some help about Pari’s admission. She tells Mishti to sleep, thinking she will never let Mishti know about Kunal. Mishti was awake and thinks she knows Pari’s buddy is her real father.
In the morning, Pari and Kunal had fun in kitchen while making paratha Kunal asks Pari if she doesn’t get bored, as he is in clinic most of the time. Pari says she miss him. Kunal asks what about having another sister for Pari. Pari clearly tells Kunal she can’t share Kunal with anyone.
Mamma apologizes Mauli and promises to speak to Kunal to stay away from Mishti. Mauli says she has found a solution already and welcomes a lawyer home. Mauli asks the lawyer to find some solution so that Kunal has no rights over her daughter, she wants a full custody with no interference. The lawyer inquires if Kunal knew about the daughter, and tried any custody rights? Mauli says she told him she was pregnant but he left her and married someone else. He was too busy. The lawyer says Mauli’s stance is weak, she must have informed Kunal about his daughter at the time she was born. A complete custody is really difficult and the court may only grant Mauli with a partial custody. Mauli panics but Dida calms her down as the lawyer will surely find some way. Mauli gets a call from Mishti’s van driver as she hadn’t come out of school. Mauli takes a leave and hurries to find Mishti. The school guard tells Mauli he saw Mishti leave school.
Kunal was in the clinic when Mauli hurries inside and grabs his collar. Kunal sends the nurse outside and asks Mauli what happened. Mauli tells Kunal he can’t take Mishti from her at any cost, only she is Mishti’s parent. Would he always snatch things from her whenever he comes to her life? Kunal asks why would he snatch Mishti from her, he has seen Pari longing for her mother’s love already. He asks Mauli what’s the matter. Mauli says Mishti left school and didn’t return home. They go together to look for Mishti. In the car, Kunal asks Mauli to call Mishti’s friends but Mishti was nowhere. Mauli asks Kunal to stop the car by a park Mishti visits quite often. Both come in and find Mishti playing on the slide. Mauli and Kunal were both relieved. Mishti runs to hug Mauli. Mauli asks Mishti why she left without informing her. Kunal was about to step towards Mishti when Ishaan intercedes. Ishaan reminds Mauli they had taken her permission three days ago for this outing. Mauli was at once apologetic that she completely forgot and was in panic. Ishaan asks Mauli why she didn’t call him, Mishti is his daughter as well. Mauli looks towards Kunal standing at the door, he smiles and walks towards them. Kunal explains that Mishti and Pari are always playing together, Mauli came to look for Mishti and he also came here to find Mishti. Kunal looks towards Mishti and tries to caress her face but Mishti hugs Popsy instead. Mauli watch Kunal walk alone.
At home, Mauli sends Mishti inside to go and change. She then asks Ishaan about tea. Ishaan asks Mauli if Kunal came to know Mishti is his daughter. Mauli says Kunal guessed and Mamma couldn’t lie to him, she is tensed about the matter and even called a lawyer to gain full custody of Mishti. Ishaan asks till when she will fight the world alone, she must have called him and he could fight this for her and Mishti.
Mishti disconnects Pari’s call, haunted by the news that Kunal is her father. Pari tells Kunal that Mishti isn’t picking her call. Kunal asks Pari what she needs to say to Mishti. Pari says she wants to know the details of her mother and Popsy’s engagement function. Kunal decides to call Pari’s Dadi. Mishti sat on the table upset and didn’t eat anything. Mamma receives the call and gives the phone to Mishti. Mishti was in a bad mood and throws the phone away, not wanting to speak to Pari. Pari cries as she disconnects the call. Kunal tells Pari that Mishti must have a bad mood, and Pari also sometimes behave weird. She must surely talk to Pari soon.
PRECAP: Kunal calls Mauli and asks if Mishti know about his relation with her. Mauli says Mishti must never know about it. Kunal also hopes that their daughter doesn’t go through the same pain as he does. Ishaan comes to Mauli.

More than anything else, i felt bad for the children today. Mishti has gone silent, and though i am relieved that she hug Ishaan when Kunal tried to approach her, i still felt bad for her. Poor girl, she doesnt know the full truth yet. And when she does, i am sure she is going to hate pari and Kunal even more. Especially with pari’s adamant ‘I dont want to share my buddy with anyone’. I dont understand this very well either, because all the single child i have encountered generally wish they had a younger brother/sister to grow up with. Maybe because Pari is so young?

Kunal didn’t seem angry at Mouli anymore, and seeing Pari’s reaction, I dont think he will be in any hurry to reveal the truth to either Pari or Mishti. But it is ridiculous that Kunal notices Mishti’s strange behavior and not Ishaan/Mouli. I hope the show doesn’t go along the lines ‘Kunal is naturally connected to his biological daughter’ Please, No.

What the lawyer said might be technically correct. Kunal had married second time, but that cannot be a basis for losing custody of his child in court. And he didnt even know he had a daughter for the past six years. If this case goes to court, either side can lose but the fact that Kunal is a single father now might go against him. How is a single father supposed to look after two young girls? Mouli can bring up how Kunal was unable to reach Pari’s camp on time, or how Mishti got hurt under Kunal’s watch…

Mouli’s position as a mother is also very messy here. She wants to protect Mishti from the truth, how and why Kunal divorced Mouli, but Mishti will find out everything one way or the other. It would be better if Mouli and Ishaan sit down with her and tell her the overall story clearly, as much as she needs to know. Still dont know how a young child will handle that. Wonder what solution Ishaan has thought out and where he took Mouli…

Yes Mauli should tell Mishti everything…. This is her right.. At this time she has no such strong bond with Kunal and Pari…..But at the end of day she can never accept Kunal as her father after knowing all this truth…..this happens in real life also…. Even situations change and Mauli accepts Kunal now… But Mishti at her adult age after knowing the truth would not be able to stay with Kunal and also can’t stop hating Pari……..
