Chandragupta’s mother Sarvathasiddhi rescues a boy and returns him to his mother. Mother thanks Sarvathasiddhi and prays for son. Sarvathasiddhi gets emotional reminiscing her son Chandragupta. Chandragupta runs clashes with her. She falls down. He lifts her, apologizes addressing her as mother and runs away. Sarvathasiddhi feels emotional connect with him.
Chandragupta’s friend disguised as guard joins other guard and acts. Another friend checks Dhananand’s precious gift chariot and hopes Chandragupta executes his task successfully. Dhananand orders to start entertainment. Artists start dancing. Chandragupta wearing mask climbs palace balcony. Guard sees him and asks who is he. Chandragupta says he came here to enjoy fresh air. Guard identifies him as serving juice sometime ago and attacks saying his intention seems bad. Chandragupta counterattacks and makes him unconscious. He then throws anchor with rope on the other side of balcony, but pulls back seeing soldiers passing by.
Dhananand continues enjoying dance. Sarvathasidhi searches his boy among dancers. Maid catches her and warns why she wants to face Dhananand’s ire and asks to return to palace. Sarvathasidhi says she wants to search her son, he must be around. Lady warns she will inform guards. Chandragupta throws anchor on other side of balcony and signals his friend Stul to execute his plan. Stul walks among people and opens pot filled with honeybees. People run around. Chandragupta slides down holding rope. His bangle band falls down. Sarvathasidhi who is searching his son sees bangle and walks towards it. Chandragupta kicks out charioteer from gift chariot and drives chariot away, picking his bangle band. His friend drives another chariot behind him. Stul runs behind chariot, but falls down. Soldiers surround him. Chanakya watches everything standing among people. Sarvathasidhi walks towards bangle and sees its imprint. Maid takes her away. Mahaamartya’s aide sees Chanakya and gets him arrested.
Dhananand’s brother asks Mahamartya how can anyone steal Dhananand’s precious gift among so many soldiers. Mahamartya says he feels thief and gift are somewhere around. Dhananand tonsures someone’s head. His brother nervously says thief stole his previous gift. Dhananand says he has spared for sometime, but will get back soon. He shows he tonsured thief guard’s slivered head’s half scalp and says he wants to tonsure thief’s head soon.
Precap: Dhananand orders he needs thief. Chanakya praises Chandragupta as smooth as soil and swift as lion, he will be united Bharath’s king.
