Zee TV launches a new show Ishq Subhan Allah, which will be premiering on March 14th 2018 at the 10 PM slot. Woh Apna Sa will shift to the 7 PM slot and Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre move to 11 PM since then. The story will be based in the city of Lucknow. It will revolve around Kabeer and Zara who are both devout followers of Islam. They have a different perception on their learning and the knowledge acquired in their lifetime. Kabeer follows the widely believed moral ethics strictly. He has immense faith in his father, who is a religious scholar.
On the other hand, Zara is an educated and bold girl who applies her teachings in a more liberal way. She believes in gender equality, justice and rationality. Kabeer and Zara will be getting married. Their constant clashes of ideologies will make them consider the Talaaq option. The show will bring the subject of Triple Talaaq. Kabeer and Zara will have their own beliefs. Their unique way of applying their religious knowledge will be seen. The show stares Eisha Singh and Adnan Khan in lead roles. the promos are really good . a fresh concept , but as usual after some months they may make it a regular boring saas bahu drama instead of sticking to the concept of social issues , but yes looking forward to it

I am looking forward but knowing Zee tv’s track record of ruining shows i am hesitant.
I hope that they make the girl also a practicing Muslim, you know one that prays and roza karde hai. People think that a “progressive good Muslim” is one that doesn’t pray or doesn’t act Muslim. And also hope they don’t make her go to temples and worship and things. Cause you can respect other religions without directly worshipping/following their customs. My friend was called an extremist cause she wouldn’t do pooja, but that is wrong too, she should have freedom to choose.

Misssjha I agree with u. Love ur religion and worship ur God n rezpect other religions just like u would want urs 2 be respected. Respecting it doesn’t mean worship it. In Islam u worship only one God n not many so if u r Muslim it is tabo 2 worship others. Anyways great comment Missjh. This serie seems nice.
