SInce the advent of these daily soaps, we have been watching them and there are many things which we have learnt from them. Be it the kind of bahus Indian girls are or the types of saajish one can employ to get their maleficent motives into action. There is one more thing which our beloved TV taught us. And yes, it’s about the kind of men we should not have in our lives.
Let’s get started and read about the worst husbands of our daily soaps.
Raman Bhalla
Everybody deserves a second chance and marrying a man who has married before should not be a deterrent in your relationship. But there area few things which a girl needs to check well in advance. Just make sure that there is no ex-wife who is as toxic as Shagun in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Her malified intentions towards Ishita has become Ishita’s worst nightmare. I mean I am not saying that Raman is to be held responsible for Shagun’s antics, but do you really want that hassle in your life?
Abhishek Mehra
Oh this one is such a terrible heartache; I don’t know where to begin! Abhishek Mehra was one of my favourite characters onscreen, the rockstar, the one even I had a huge crush on. His onscreen chemistry with Pragya was just perfect. But there is something seriously wrong with this man. He is nothing more than a husband who loves his wife but fails to trust her, understand her and be fair to her. Let’s face it, Abhi and his toxic family has wrecked havoc on Pragya’s life and going by Hindi serial logic rockstars only come from dysfunctional families, so better stay away from that mess.
Prerna Ka Anurag (Original KZK)
This is probably the worst. So Anurag first married Komolika, then divorced her and married the love of her life Prerna. But the dude was not done yet. He then had problems with Prerna, divorced her and married Aparna who turned out to be a total psycho. So he got rid of her and married Sampada who also turned out to be a bad decision. You see where we are going with this, right? Not to be moralistic, but that is simply a lot of marriages for one person. You really do not need this indecisive man in your life.
Shivaay Singh Oberoi
I know I am going to be hated a lot for dragging SSO to the list but I couldn’t help it. SSO also became one of those husbands who think he can decide for his wife. He decided one day that she deserves better and tries to walk away from her life no matter what she feels about him. Then he decided that he loves her and he carves his way back in. Way to respect your wife’s feelings, dude!! Do her feelings even count?
Harman
It was been established eons ago that Soumya being a transgender is the only reason these two can’t be together. Then why awee they beating around the bush and coming up with new obstacles? This show could have been one of the most progressive shows on Indian telly and promised so much in the beginning but sadly, it is nothing but a disappointment now. And well, no one should have a husband like Harman.

Now when I read the whole thing, I realized that one can make a long list of the worst husbands!! Not only these 5, but, Karan Luthra, Rishi Sing Bedi, and many more too deserves to be in the list.
The main problem is that these daily soap make women suffer, they carry the pressure of society(The effin’ reputation first of her parents and then the in-laws!), they have to face allegations, they are mistreated often, mistrust often, played with like a toy, used for some stupid revenge and still hold no right to put their thoughts, never treated equally, have to follow their partner’s order and after even bearing all the tortures, happily forgive their partner like noting ever happened!
And these toxic men have nothing to do except bossing around, bringing and sending them according to their will, drinking alcohol, pretending to love, maligning/doubting their character, never respect their feelings and then at the end begging for forgiveness which they get so easily!
And I thank you for adding SSO to the list too, and even others, else people are so obsessed with these characters that none can hear a word against them or believe the fact that they can ever do any wrong. And I feel they never did anything right!!
I would love to hear your opinion on Neil Khanna and Rishabh Luthra, and few others if you wish!!
Not only as a fan of naamkaran… But also on character basis i want a man like neil khanna… He was perfect man in all aspects… first time in indian television..( i dont know about other serials) i have seen a man who trusts avni so much. When Riya plotted avni having an affair with avni.. he not only trusted his wife… But also enlightened us about the way we see a side of story….
For me.. he is a perfect man.. a true man.. who loves his wife, trusts his wife..and treats her as equal as him.. HE IS MAN EVERY GIRL WANTS.

These serials… Bait the viewers by bringing a character having good looks, great personality,charming…. The real life is far from reel… In real girls don’t only want a man with sone charm or looks but someone who trusts ..her… Truely loves her…
These serials shows… the lead actress as damsel in distress.. they should bring powerful characters.. because inspite of trps and all awards etc.. the young minds and middles class generation are deeply influenced by these characters.. by showing the actress equal and powerful as man… We can change the mindset of thousands of people..
What about Arnav Singh Raizada? Could you even write on him ,please?
I don’t have any problem with your list. But where is Karan Luthra? He married Preeta just for fulfilling his ego. He had left Preeta on the road(she deserves) and he left. Also the makers made the viewers and fans of Kundali for three months when Preeran(bullshit) reunite. I can’t even stand at Preeta who wore her wedding dress for three and half months and didn’t even had the wedding.
About Anurag, not only real version, the new version Anurag is also an idiot. He should also be added in this list. He never deserves to be a husband nor a lover. He is perfect as a slave for Komolika.
Exactly!! Where is the very “great” Karan Luthra from Kundali Bhagya and RAGHAV SINGHANIA from Ek mutthi Aasman who left Kalpi just to fullfill his mother’s revenge who left him in his childhood.

Serials always portray heroes,supposed husbands of heroines are a bunch of confused souls who don’t know what they are doing.TRP,PH,Channels’ always come in between a well developed story only to degrade and butcher it beyond repair.Seemingly ALL heroes are Innocent as THEY do what they are told to DO as per the demand of the Script and mostly Channel.TRP is the greatest Setback in showing Progressive content on ITV.
If a Bullying,Abusing but Romantic hero can get TRP then neither PH nor Channel have any problem in showcasing regressive plot and story that becomes the headache of the sensible Viewers and Concerned people.TRP is that tune on which tune every ITV hero dances.If it demands HERO will Romance the Heroine,He will.If it demands Hero will abuse his Wife,He will.The demand list is very long though.
So blaming heroes upon their conduct is Uncalled for.They are not at all Responsible for what they do on screen.And considering Serial heroes as husband Goal and all is a Childish act being mature person/persons!Some fancy,imaginative character can’t get the power of deciding one’s potential life-partner.Pampering such Notion can be dangerous.
All ITV shows are Injurious to one’s Mental Health and an Insult to one’s Intelligence quota.That’s why Raman Bhallas,Abhishek Mehras,Anurag Basus,Shivaay Singh Oberois,Harmans and all fall under same category.If one wants to Judge and Criticize,do so of the Production Houses’ of those heroes’ and Channels’.They are torturing Viewers together since long.And we are continuing wasting our Energy on Heroes for their Acting on Screen.What a pathetic Joke!!

WELL.. Almost everything..
Because I wouldn’t say that the so-called “heroes” are innocent! Ok, they might not be responsible for what they do onscreen but they surely know what they are doing onscreen! I mean don’t they know what they do onscreen?? If they are TRULY HEROES, they should themself REFUSE from delivering those abusive lines to the HEROINE instead of counting their MONEY. If these ITV Heroes have even a little respect for their mother, sister, gf/wife they should BACK OUT from doing such shows!!
And secondly, more than the heroes, it is actually the heroine’s fault! MONEY is more important than DIGNITY for them!! They’ll do anything for money and fame! Forget about doing such weak roles… they’ll even be ready to sleep with directors…
There is only one person who can stop such shows and that is us!! We should stop giving TRP to these shows which will force the production house to find out why trp is lacking and these shows will get closed. WE HAVE A LOT OF POWER THAN WE THINK! All we need to do is stop watching!
What’s funny is that we are here commenting about what ITV should change. But when will we change?? IF WE WANT WE CAN MAKE the ITV dance to our tunes! Because if we can give such shows even trp to run till years.. we can also destroy such shows. IF THE ITV won’t TAKE ACTION, WE WILL HAVE TO TAKE ACTION AS A TEAM! Because like you said Geeta, TRP is the greatest setback.

What about kunj Sarna from tashan e ishq,,, he supported twinkle in every aspect, in every single problem,,, until he assumed to be died and twinkle married yuvi but even then after realising his mistake he again supported her and gave her space she needed and we want a list of good husbands yaar

Because the telly updates publisher requires at least 200 words to make a post, I don’t think it would be possible as there are hardly any good husbands.
And in Kunj’s case, he almost falls in the same list of bad hubbies
But Kunj was later taking revenge as Rocky on Twinkle and torturing her without even trying to know the actual truth. So, he might have loved Twinkle and supported her but never trusted Twinkle.
So sorry to say but he is equally as bad as Abhishek Prem Mehra or Karan Luthra.
Also please do add the characterless immoral Shantanu Mazumdar from Yeh Teri Galiyan too!
