Sister Martha-“No it’s a serious matter here.. Mahi ur parents left a letter for u that has a bank account..I suppose that was a Fixed Deposit..u get it when u turn 18..I will handle half of that money to u to start ur life and half will be kept for ur brother..Okay??”
Now thats the topic I cant handle..I always get emotional when the topic turns to be my parents or anything related to them..I already had tears.. and I was damn sure I will cry my heart out tonight..
I just nodded..though I was on phone & Sister wouldn’t be able to see my reaction
Sister-“Mahi ??”
I again nodded..
Twinkle couldn’t see her chatter box silent..She came and gave her a warm hug..I started sobbing..She just kept whispering “all will be fine baby..its okay” in my ears..though she dint know what Sister Martha just told me !!
“Now I have a hell lott money..right sister..of course I m going to share it with my bro :P” I said while hugging Twinki
“U..b*t*h” Twinki whispered in my ears and pushed me back from the hug
Sister-“I wasn’t doubting it 😛 will u please hand over the phone to Twinki ?? ”
Mahi- “ Yeah !! but If u don’t mind can I have their letter Sister ??”
Sister-“Yeah sure my child :-)”
I handed the phone to Twinki & gestured that I had to leave for a work..& will return soon..
She approved with closing her eyes & tilting her head a bit..!!
I left to meet Yuvi & Kunj in CCD..& give a final touch to the plan !!

“ Twinkle there are many things u aren’t told about ur life & now that u r older I know u want to have answers to many questions..but trust me my child..the right time will bring u right answers..all I can tell u is never feel urself alone..ur Mother did not leave u alone..that bag u brought along with u had many things to help u in ur future..for now I can only tell u this and give u what she wanted u to have when u turn 18 🙂 ”
Me-“ But sister…do u know her ?? Why did she not do it when I was 12-13..Why when I am 18 ?? Do u know the reason she left me in the orphanage ?? IS SHE ALIVE sister ?? ”
Sister-“I told u my child..right time..right answers..Now, I want u & Mahi both to visit the Orphanage after ur freshers..I have something of yours which is required to be handed to the you..”
“Alright Sister..We will visit the orphanage” I said..the tears already filled I my eyes..
I know my birthday was approaching..Just a day more & I will turn 18..but I never had imagined that it will be such a surprise for me..I wished it to be memorable but not surprising..But this time it seems like..My best friend..Mahi also doesn’t has any clue of it..She isn’t excited as she used to be or may be this new life has made her forget the most important day of her best friend..!!
I remember how we remembered the birthdays of each & every child & worker in the orphanage because that was the day the the healthy food menu was forgotten & delicious..mouth watering food was cooked..It was a feast for all of us..we would get cake to eat..tasty food..lot of fun..dance..music..chocolates..& the birthday child was given a New Clothes !!
A tear trickled down my cheeks as I was lost in those memories..I wiped it quickly & recollected myself..that was past..& now I have to face Reality..My Mother..She wanted me to have some thing when I turn 18 !! What can it be ?? & why did she leave me in the Orphanage !! I have always been wanting an answer to these questions..What made her leave a child barely a year old in the hands of unknown people..!!
A child who was attached to her for 9 entire months..for whose glimpse she would have been impatient..how eager she would have been to look at that innocent face after the delivery..for whom she went through so much pain..a child whom she raised for an year..What made her just leave her alone in this big World ???
I even don’t know whether she is alive or not..I wish I could just meet her once..& ask her those questions..ask her to answer me..look her in the eyes when she apologises..when she justifies her decision..I knew in no way I can forgive her..in no way I can just let single apology be enough for my 17 years of solitude !! :/

Me & Kunj had been waiting in the café since half an hour..Though Kunj has got lot of patience but still I was becoming restless..
Yuvi-“Arey bhai continuous busy aa raha phone…Ye bhi koi baat hoti hai..at least should have informed us she will be late”
Kunj-“Areey must be talking to some-one..aa jayegi..”
Yuvi-“I always tell u..Ye ladkiyaa na humesha marwaati hain !! Aadha ghanta barbaadkar dia maie yahan pe is k chakkar mein”
Kunj-“Bhai jane de..use manage karna padta hai..She has to keep it a secret…Twinkle ko hint na ho..may be usi reason ki wajah se she is getting late..”
Yuvi-“Abey are we mad sitting here since 30 mins ?? Atleast inform to kar deti..lekin nahi !!”
Kunj-“Bhai bass aati hi hogi…”
& then she entered..Her eyes red..as if she had been crying..Hair not properly made..simple jeans & top..no kohl..no any attempt of make up..
Kunj-“Bhai kuch mat kehna..she isn’t in mood lag raha”
I nodded..
Mahi-“Hey guys..I am sorry for being late..by the way all is set..We will surely surprise her..Kunj bas apni preparations acche se karna”
Was this girl crying ?? If yes how can she act so differently & happy ??
I am always amazed at this capability of girls..a moment they are crying & in the next they laugh..no matter how sad they are but they will do anything for ur happiness !!
But still They are out of my understanding & Love..Yuvi ki dictionary mein ye word hi nahi 😀 😀
“Chal meri Gobhi ka fool..Bata whats the plan ??” I winked at Kunj
“GOBHI KA FOOL !!” Mahi widened her eyes
“Aree LAUKI bol bhai” Kunj said
“Nahi re sounds like THOR wala LOKI 😛 😛 “ I commented “LADY FINGER bolte hain”
Mahi gave me a glaring look “Tum logo ne Sabzi Mandi laga rakhi hai yaha !!” 😀 😀
& we all all started laughing..yet Mahi’s laugh wasn’t as earlier..her care-free natural laugh..she seemed lost some where..in her own world..but yet did not want any one to have a clue about it !!

“Dear Diary
Just a day more..& it’s her birthday..!!!
We have worked a lott for this day..Mahi has planned it as a Shocking surprise..She was really excited for it to happen & I expected the same happiness & excitement today too but it was entirely different today !!
She was late today..which made Yuvi furious..but he dint make that any issue..She looked..Pale.as if shocked or made to be acknowledged with a Bitter reality..she also dint do any effort for her appearance as she usually does..the kohl was smugged..her hair were messed into a bun & the excuse she gave was Lame !! Anyone who saw her can clearly tell that it wasn’t due to Head-ache..It was due to continuous crying..!!
I wonder what the Reason is !! May be she had a fight with Twinkle !! Or may be she is missing her home & her parents !!
Wait..We don’t know anything about the girls..their home..their siblings..their parents !! How Silly of us !! :/
Still me & Yuvi tried to make her cheer up..u know that usual insane method of ours..& She did laugh but without her glow..without that spark..I wonder if this is A Fight With Tqinki..would Twinki be crying too !! :/ Damn mann !! I wanna see her :/ Just a look !! Wish I could..just have a glimpse of her from far away 🙁
