20 years later – A KumKum Bhagya Story Chapter 5

Pragya walks into the room after telling Rhea to go down for breakfast.

Pragya- Why are you acting like this?

Abhi- Huh what do you mean

Pragya- Why are you not talking to Rhea? It’s been six months and if she and I could move on then I don’t understand what your problem is?

Abhi- Pragya, can we please not talk about this right now?

Pragya- Okay then what do you want to talk about? I hope Prachi is recovering well. Kiara said she’s remembering things slowly. I’m worried. How will react to this

Abhi- What this?

Pragya- You and me?

Abhi- What you and me? You’re my wife and I’m her father. Anyways can we stop talking about the kids. They are driving me crazy. Let’s do what we did to make these girls.

Pragya{shyly}- What are you talking about

Abhi goes towards her. She shuts her eyes. He blows air onto her face. He moves the strands behind her ears. He leans towards her, however she doesn’t lean forward. He decides to kiss her forehead instead. They both remain in that position until they are disturbed by a cough by Rhea. They look at her and she looks embarrassed, however they see tears rolling down her cheeks and break apart from each other

Pragya- What happened? I told you I’m coming down

Rhea just lifts her hand and Pragya notices that there is a wound and her daughter is severely bleeding. Abhi gets worried and rushes to bring a first aid box. He begins applying first aid and blowing air over it. Pragya looks at the both of them in awe

Rhea- Dad, If you care about me so much then why are you doing this?

Abhi gets up and signals Pragya to put the band aid instead and leaves the room

Rhea- Little does he know that his actions hurt me more than this stupid wound

Meanwhile, Sunny is rushing down the hallway to leave for office and he bumps into Aliya

Sunny- Sorry

Alia- What sorry? My foot. Such a cheap boy. No wonder just like his mother

Sunny POV

I don’t know what’s wrong with Aliya? Why does she hate Ma so much. And from what I’ve seen and heard Aliya and Purab don’t even get along that well. What is the true story? I need to figure out what’s going on.

As he’s thinking, he doesn’t realize that Aliya has dropped water on the steps. He slips and is about to fall when someone catches him

Purab- Careful Sunny

Sunny- Please don’t call me that, you lost the right

Purab- Sunny please, you don’t understand

Sunny- I do understand and anyways I’m getting super late for work.

Purab sighs.

Aaryan who is standing close by has heard this entire conversation.

Aaryan- What’s been happening? I don’t understand what the truth is. Everyone is acting weird after Sunny and Pragya Chachi came. I need to understand what the relationship is between Dad and Sunny. Even Mom and Dad fight so much these days. He gets disturbed by Dadi and Sunny’s conversation.

Sunny- Bye Dadi, I will come and see you after my job. Then in the evening we’ll go out to the park okay?

Dadi- Yes Puttar! I’m giving you my aashirwaad

Sunny- Love you Dadi!

Meanwhile,

Delhi Airport

Disha- Prachi we have to tell you something, Your mom is living with your father right now. And his name is Abhishek Prem Mehra

Prachi{pretends to be shocked}- What? Masi, are you sure? Rhea’s father is my father?

Disha- Ya and Kiara’s too! Chalo let’s go to his house.

Kiara- No Masi, I will not step into the house of that mad man. I’ve told you once and I’m telling you again, I hate him and nothing anyone will say or do will make me like him. I’m not coming with you guys, please ask mom to come and see my at our house

Disha- Kiara, We sold that house

Kiara- What? Okay Masi then I’ll go to Gurgoan and stay at your house. Please send Sunny home soon.

Disha- Okay Gudiya, whatever you say. Please drive safely.

Prachi- Bye Di

Prachi POV

Why does Di hate dad so much? I don’t understand. Anyways I already knew that he was my dad so I had to pretend to be shocked. I can’t wait to go home and see my Mom and Dad. Even Ranbir, how must he be doing? He hasn’t posted in social media in so long. I hope he’s there when I reach.
