The show starts with voice over of Naina Agarwal telling her school journey and says 1990 was the year when her story started when there was no internet, mobiles, no fb, nothing. She says there was just radio. A fb is shown, Naina dances hearing song on radio. She tells that phone talk was important as people used to wait in line to talk to their love ones. She says there was no SRK, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan or any film posters. She says she was 16 years old studying in school. Naina’s friend Kamya tries to show off. Naina says diamond don’t say that it is a diamond. Other friend shows her Step cut hairs…and says the guy sang for her. She asks Naina to get her hair cut done. Naina refuses and says she is waiting for Shanti Teacher. Naina says that Shanti Teacher was popular among boys and was good teacher too. Naina gets up. Shanti Teacher says Sanjay came first in the test and gives papers to everyone. Naina checks and counts her marks. She tells Shanti Teacher that she got 4 marks, but she gave her 3. Shanti Teacher says Naina stood first even in this test and appreciates her. Naina tells that she was mad about marks, but a guy far away from her in Nainital, don’t care about his own life. Sameer performs stunts while his friends cheer for him. They see Principal coming in his car. Sameer falls on the car front side and says good morning sir.

Naina’s voiceover says that she will introduce her family now. Naina and Preeti come home. Naina’s Chachi and Preeti’s mum scold them for breaking their chappal. Jethani looks at them. They start singing bhajan and then stops. Chachi says Pooja will get married, and preeti will also marry, but she is worried about Naina. Naina says someone will marry her like Chacha married her. Chachi looks at her. Preeti tells Naina that she failed in the test and got just 7 marks. She asks Naina not to tell anyone and help her. Naina says I will not lie. She asks her to add 1 with blue pen same as teacher. She says she never thought that she will lie, but lied a lot of times for Sameer.

Sameer gets scolded by the principal for saving his friends. Principal says I will see who will save you. He says their school reputation gets ruined because of such rich and spoilt kids.Naina’s voiceover says Sameer had to left boarding and came to Ahmedabad to his Nana’s house, in our city. Naina and Preeti dance seeing TV catching signal when some guy manages to repair the antenna. Taya ji and Taya ji see them dancing and scolds them. Naina’s Chacha Anand says when we have TV, kids will see. Tayi ji says they were dancing on filmy song. She scolds Naina and says your Taya is a big lawyer, and Chacha is CA. Taya ji scolds Anand and says she is a fatherless girl and that’s why we gave her responsibility to you.

Voiceover says whenever Taya ji bursts out his anger on them, Chacha ji used to take them out to have pani puris. Naina and Sameer collide, but don’t see each other. He buys mineral water from the shop. Shop keeper asks if anyone is unwell at home. Naina’s voiceover says those days people used to think the person as fool who buys water from shop. Naina and Preeti have pani puri. Sameer sees chewing gum on her hairs and asks a boy to give paper to Naina. Naina sees him waving hand as he goes in auto. She opens it and see sketch. She finds chewing gum in her hairs and panics.

Precap: Preeti cuts Naina’s hairs as Chewing gum sticks to her hairs. Servant informs Sameer that his mother came to meet him.
