Scene 1
In a small village in Bengal there is Bondita and Anirudh was studying in London. They were tied together by circumstances. Bondita and Anirudh had two daughters, Durga and Devi.

Later, it was Durga and Devi’s birthday. They go out with their parents. Their car meets an accident. Bonita and Anirudh die. The driver checks them. He’s scared. He sees they’re all dead. He sees the kids are alive. He picks Charu and leaves Durga there.

A few days later, Charu wakes up in a house in shock. She tries to look around. Durga is with her Sampurna. Sampurna and her husband pray that Charu and Durga get reunited. Sampurna says we will find Devi for sure. He says let’s do pooja. Sampurna looks for Durga. She’s nowhere. She is worried. She asks all the staff to look around for Durga. Sampurna opens the closet. Durga is there and fainted. She screams. They call a doctor. Durga cries for Devi. She recalls the accident and cries. She cries recalling everything. They hug her. She says dada Ji will Devi be safe? He says yes. Don’t worry.

Scene 2
Charu performs dance and acts in the village. Sampurna massages Durga’s head. She says you miss your mom right? Durga says you care for me, you are my mom. She prays that she finds Devi. Devi (Charu) cycles on a rope and everyone claps for her. Sampurna takes Durga for pooja. Sampurna’s daughter Somana isn’t ready for pooja. Sampurna sayas get ready, pooja is about to start. Your heart is seen in pooja. She says then get pooja done in the heart too. Somana’s husband tries to act like a boss with the servants. Somana comes to him. Sonash hugs Somana. She says you’re amazing. He says there’s too much work left. He says I have to handle things as a family. This haveli is yours.

Sonash brings things. Sampurna says we don’t need such things. Somana says she can’t find her sister. When will we get done with this? Do Devi’s pooja as well. Sampura says go from here. Durga cries. Sampura asks them to leave. Sampura, her husband and Durga do the pooja together. Devi’s show starts in the village. Bholi says there should be no mistake. Durga lights candles for Devi. Sampura’s husband asks where is Durga. She should give donations. Durga is doing pooja alone. Sampura comes to her. She falls, and Devi falls as well. Sammpura says your hands are burned. What did you do? You burned your hands. We are finding Devi. Durga says will God listen to me? Sampura says he will. She says you will soon meet Devi.

Bholi says she can’t do one thing right. The man picks Charu, he asks are you okay? What happened to your hands? She says my hands are burning. Like someone was calling me. He says let’s go home. Bholi hits her and says she can’t do one thing right. She made a loss. Devi says my hands are burned. Can’t you see? Don’t mess with me. I make all this money. She says where will we eat from? Charu shoves her. They leave. Sampurna says to Durga we have to go to Vidyalay. Somana says she’s scared. Look at the fear o her face. People make fun of her in school. Sampura says shut up. My daughter is brave, like her mom. She says everyone says she’s not skilled like her mom at all. Sampura says go from here. Durga says I will go to school. Devi will teach everyone a lesson.

Scene 3
Charu looks at the school. Her friend asks what happened? She stands outside and sees kids studying. She studies from the window. Jhumki takes her from there. Durga sits alone in the class. The kids make fun of her. The kids bully her and throw water on her skirt. The teacher asks what happened. A kid says she peed. Everyone laughs. the teacher asks Durga. She says bad manners. Durga says I didn’t. She says don’t be scared. Your mom was very brave, she studied in this school. You have to be brave like her.

Jhumki and Charu come home. Bhooli says where were you both? Charu says it takes time. She says your mom must be a witch. Charu says don’t say a word about my mom. Bholi says I will. Charu says don’t mess with me. Bholi is about to hit her. Her husband drags her out. He says how dare you. She says she thinks you’re her dad and I am her stepmom. I will tell her the truth. She’s a burden on us. He says you’re a burden on her. She earns for her. Go and tell her and she would leave. Charu asks what truth? Charu says your mom was very clever. She says shut up.

Durga comes home and cries. She says I don’t want to go to school. Somana says to take her to a psychologist. Bholi locks Charu in a cage. Durga prays that Devi comes to her soon. Charu cries in the cage. She says I wish I had someone who loved me. Durga says Devi I love you a lot. COme back, please.

Scene 4
Sampura gets Durga ready and says I will come to the school with you. Somana says how long will go with her. Sampura says I will be with her everywhere. Sonash says she can’t even tell who those bad students are. She becomes silent in school. Durga comes to school. She drops her book. Charu finds it. Jhumki asks her to keep it. Charu says she might need it. She says I will return it. It’s hers. Sampurna and the principal ask Durga to identify the kids who bully her. She’s scared. Sampura says to leave your fear behind. Say something. She’s silent. Sampurna says would Devi be scared like this?
