Recently, Star Plus’s show Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan got many huge changes. The lead actors have been replaced in quite a little time, as the show started on September 28, 2015. Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee who play Raj and Koyal in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan have been replaced by Aly Goni and Asha Negi. Aly plays Romi Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Asha Negi who is famous as Purvi from Parvita Rishta. Shritama Mukherjee called it a mutual decision between the makers and actors. Where there were no issues about her acting talent, she was replaced to much shock for her fans.
Shritama earlier played a lead role as Satya’s daughter Vedika post leap in Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life Ok. Replacements are very common in TV. Asha Negi had replaced Rachana Parulkar in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan before. After Aly Goni and Asha Negi’s entry in the show, many changes in the track have come. Koyal’s marriage is the new twist in the show, wherein viewers will get to see whom she marries finally. Maddy, Raj and Samar are all interested to win Koyal’s love.
Aly Goni has got many female fans by his impressive acting talent in his not so big role of Romi Bhalla from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actor will be seen romancing Asha Negi. The reason for the major replacement is low TRPs and the plot. The concept of multicultural families and the romance between the three lead actors, did not impress the audience.
