While the pandemic has caused several TV shows to go off air in the past year and a half, the situation seems to be looking up as more projects are leaving the shelves of production houses and channels to be aired soon. Several new shows have been announced and the makers are cautious than ever.
According to a source, “There’s a new show coming up titled Meri Doli, Mere Angna, which will star actor Worship Khanna as one of the leads. He will be playing a character with grey shades. The show will be shot in Mumbai itself.”
While Worship excused himself from confirming the news, there are reports that actress Astha Abhay might also be part of the show.
Worship who hails from Uttar Pradesh recently talked about having a tough time living in Mumbai. He shared, “Last year, which I thought would be like a vacation, turned into a nightmare after the lockdown got extended. Thankfully, I was safe with my family in UP and we were all together. Currently, I am in Mumbai, living alone with my two pets. The second wave of COVID-19 is giving me sleepless nights.”
Worship is known for his role in TV shows like Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai, Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap and Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka.
