U & I Will Never Be One (RAGLAK) [EPISODE 10]

Bear with my grammatical mistakes and typing errors.

“Surp-ri-se” I heard her singing. I wasn’t surprised I was shocked! What was happening? Why my photos are in his room? What about Kavya? Why are they living in Dad’s house? Aren’t they living in MM anymore? I turned back towards the door and didn’t saw Uttara. I turned to the photos but suddenly I saw him standing there few inches away from me. I was scared at his sudden arrival. I had my hands on his chest and he smiled like a child who was given a chocolate. ‘You know what you are a sl*t’ his words echoed in my mind. I started fuming. I was hardly able to control myself, I looked into his glittering eyes and he was still smiling like an idiot my blood boiled. What does he thinks of himself that he got his long lost prey! I am not that fool to repeat my mistakes. U don’t know Mr. Maheshwari whom are you trying to mess with! I am Ragini not that emotional fool! I don’t even want to see his face, but for now I have to live here with him under same roof. I lowered my gaze, he was probably confused. I pushed him and I took my mobile and ran from there in haste, I could listen him calling out for me.

Laksh’s pov:

What happened to her suddenly? Her mixed emotions are making me confused. She still loves me or not?
“Ragini!” I heard her yelling for Ragini like she was still in the mood to create a scene. “You left us in that Baadi 6 months ago and when Shekhar has established himself you have came here to take share!”
Everyone came down listening to her
She came and held Ragini’s wrist and started dragging her. Ragini huffed. She took off Sumi maa’s hand and jerked her.
“Stay in your limits” Ragini shouted pointing her index towards maa. There was a complete silence. Everyone was literally shocked. She had tightened her fist and her eyes clearly reflected the anger.The girl who never knew how to shout on elders today she pushed Sumi maa.
“I haven’t came here on my own u guyz have sent me the invitation and why should I go from here this is my father’s house!” She continued yelling and turned towards Shekhar uncle and lifted her right eyebrow and said “Right dad?” He remained quiet and lowered his gaze. Ragini laughed. “I still can’t believe it. What you thought? I left you all so easily! I kept a record of all your deeds even your accounts too and I don’t think I need to say anything. Empty Treasure! Loans, Debts, Advance and what not.” She sat on the sofa relaxing herself fully. “Tch-Tch daughter is a billionaire and u a mendicant!” She gets up from the sofa and stands infront of Sumi maa and says “So now tell me who is the gold digger! I don’t think that I need to elaborate” and she goes from there.

It has been 5 hours since I am thinking about her. Did I love this Ragini? Never! The one whose first priority was her family not the one who keeps on doing show off and disrespects elders. I am missing you Ragini.

………”Laksh!!!!” This place was heavenly. The perfect place, I could smell the fresh air, could see the flowers blossoming and she standing infront of my eyes in red clour saree playing with butterflies and flowers.
“Ragini!!!” I spread my arms in Shahrukh Khan style and she came running and hugged me tightly.
“Laksh I love You!”
“I love you too” I tucked her hairs behind her ears and she blushed………

I opened my eyes and realised the surrounding. Damn It! I saw that dream again. Suddenly my eyes stucked on the clock on the side table.
Shit! Its 9 God!! Uttara will surely kill me today. I rushed to my wardrobe and got confused between the two sherwanis. Which one should I wear? The blue one or the red one! Red, for sure. My Ragini would love this colour. (Bz every girl does that!?).
“Laksh” I heard her yelling at me. “Don’t you know that I won’t like red one see that blue you’ll surely look the best.”
I smiled and shook my head. I knew that it was my imagination. It has been 6 months and I keep imagining her 24 by 7.
I got ready in ‘blue sherwani’. I descended from the stairs and my eyes searching my lady love. Preparations were already done and function was to start and all the ladies shouted for mens of the house.
There comes the bride. She was wearing a pink coloured lehenga with all accessories on! (How come I, ‘The Laksh Maheshwari’ know about ladies’ stuff?). She looked gorgeous and prettiest! She came and sat on the circular couch and all the ladies surrounded her. And the girl started applying Mahendi on her palm. Uttara smiled looking at her Mahendi and looked at the ladies and facial expression changed into a serious one.
“Where’s Ragini Bhabi?”
“There she is”
After listening to Maa’s words I slew at that direction. There came my lady love. It seemed like a fairy tale. The time stopped. Wind blew and mine and Ragini’s hairs started fluttering and a romantic music played. (In short, I was mesmerised to see her) She was wearing a blue panel length lehenga with a long choli and she set her hairs in long wavy curls and she was wearing a beaded bib necklace. [Poor boy! Says that he doesn’t know anything about ladies’ stuff] She was looking extremely gorgeous and the PRETTIES and the BEST of them all. But, she isn’t looking at me. Huhh Laksh focus! Wait a second! I and Ragini are wearing same colours again. Today she is looking like my Ragini.

(SHE CAME AND HELD MY HANDS AND WE BEGIN TO DANCE. MY ONE HAND WAS IN HER HAND WHILE THE OTHER ONE ON HER WAIST AND HER OTHER HAND WAS ON MY SHOULDER)

Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen
Qaynaat mein nahi hai kahin
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuchh bhi nahin
Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon
(EVERYONE PRESENT THERE LOOKED AT US PROBABLY THINKING HOW CUTE PAIR WE MAKE. RAGINI’S CHEEKS HAD TURNED RED AND WE LOOKED IN EACH OTHER’S EYES AND SHE BLUSHED)

Shokhiyon mein doobi yeh adaayein
Chehre se jhalki huyi hain
Zulf ki ghani-ghani ghataayein
Shaan se dhalki huyi hain
Lehrata aabchal hai jaise baadal
Baahon mein bhari hai jaise chandni
Roop ki chandni
(I TWIRLED HER AND DIPPED HER WHILE SHE CONTINUED TO LOOK IN MY EYES ONLY TO FIND MY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I LOVE HER MORE THAN MYSELF)

Main agar kahoon yeh dilkashi
Hai nahin kaheen, na hogi kabhi
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuchh bhi nahin
Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon
(TEARS FLOWED FROM HER EYES. I WIPED THEM OFF AND CARESSED HER FACE AND WHILE SHE KISSED ME ON MY FOREHEAD.)

“From which alphabet does your would be name starts?” My chain of thoughts was braked by her. Can’t she do her work quietly?
“S” Uttara replied.
I wonder how will Ragini’s beautiful plam look with the letter ‘L’? I laughed at my own sentence and Maa and Chachi looked at me like they’d seen a lizard!
