Never had she felt so depressed, used or confused. She felt a flood of emotions overwhelm her all at once but still felt so empty. After spending millions of magical moments together growing up and eventually dating, why did it have to end this way? Those special memories were fuel on the fire, causing his distrust of her to pain her benevolent, broken heart even more. Hours went by however none of this mattered to her. Nothing mattered to her anymore. Curled up in an untidy heap, she sobbed hysterically but silently. The self-inflicted lacerations wept almost as much as she did.
Little did he know that it was his own so called friends who hatched such lies? Photographs were falsified to distance the lovebirds. He fell for it. The malicious rumours began to eat away at him.
Strangely, he was close to numerous girls; he would always say that they were like his sisters. Of course she was jealous, it was a girl thing. They had been responsible for causing problems in the past. These sisters of his had succeeded in separating them from one another before. Surely they were capable of doing it again?
Out of love, she would always message him to enquire about his day and what he had been up to. All she ever received were blunt replies. “Nothing,” he would text back after several minutes. After being together for over a year it seemed as though he was less interested in her or was he just not good at putting across how he felt?
His tanned muscular arms were lovingly wrapped around her waist as he hugged her from behind. She felt as though she was at home in his arms. All her problems drifted away when he took her into his arms. Lightly, he rested his chin on her shoulder blade. Slowly, he turned and kissed her neck. Something in his jacket pocket caused him to suddenly move. From his pocket he pulled out a pair of 3D glasses. He shyly smiled at her. Intrigued by his unexpected movements she turned to face him. Casually, he said that he went to the cinema with one of his “sisters.” Her heart sank. It just happened to be the one who had separated them in the past. She despised how close he was with other girls. “Oh,” she quickly replied trying not to sound annoyed. Briskly, she turned away from him so he could no longer see her face. Confused, he asked “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” she quickly snapped back. Immediately, he knew what was bothering her, yet he remained silent.
Questioning his relationship with them was something she never did, not to his face anyway. How could he fail to mention going out with her, if it was just to see a movie? She felt anger building up inside her. The fact that he still talked to her broke her. They had so much influence over him that it would be possible for them to indoctrinating him into her web of fabrication. She could not hold it against him because as much as he lost trust in her, she loved him.
He broke up with her. Now she was just an empty shell of a human. She would have followed him to the ends of the Earth, only to discover he would push her off upon arriving. From loving him with all her heart, he made her heartless. She became emotionless because he stole all hers and never came back. He jumped to conclusions. The arms she once took comfort in were the one that left her broken. He screwed her up so much she no longer felt love. For the rest of her life she would find herself comparing everyone she met to him. The sensation of his lips against hers would haunt her for eternity. When it came to her he was oblivious to how wrong he was.
