Chapter 4:

Next day sanky wakeup with terrible headache… he find lime juice on the table… he sips lime juice while past night incident start to runs on his mind…   he knows her from past 8 yrs… Yeah past 8 yrs… He remembers their first meeting…

* It’s a rainy season… water logging on roads… bz of sanskar crazy driving, dirty water splashed on swaragini… before sanskar park his car… swara shouts idiot… Rags stop her… He comes near them and apologises to Rags… Rags: it’s okay…  “Its not okay” he heard… he lower down his gaze… swara standing angrily by folding her hands in waist and rolling her big eyes…

Swara: dnt u hv eyes… see bz of u wat happened to my school uniforms… sans kneels down and ask sorry… swara behaves rudely with him… Rags: shona wat is dis… He is asking sorry na then why u behaving lyk dis…

Swara: didi u dnt knw abt these boys… u r so innocent… so keep silent… yesterday I saw one movie, in tat movie like dis one boy purposefully splash water on beautiful girl and then he try to frnd with her by saying sorry…  now he is doing like this… sans narrow his eyebrow: hey kiddo I dnt have any intention to be frnd with ur didi…

swara: ohho… I knw I’m also beautiful girl na… so u hv intention to be friend with me… dnt thnk I accept ur friendship… di nowadays these boys are so bad… she made taunting face… Ragsan open their mouth… Ragini smiles at her lil sis act… sans can’t control his laughter… he laughs at her statement…

Sans made puppy face: haan…haan… kiddo… what to do… I can’t resist myself u looking so beautiful… pls will you accept this poor boy friendship… swara place her index finger in her corner of lips and start to think by looking upwards… he forwards one chocolate from his pocket… after seeing choco as usual her mouth starts watering… Immediately she tk choco frm his hand… swara: didi he is nt lyk other boy… he is too good na… and looking too pity… so we will accept his friendship ok… Rags nods smilingly… sans: aww… cho chweet of you… kiddo… swara: I’m not kiddo… I’m swara… call me swara or shona… sans pulls her cheek… sans: no no u r my kiddo only… so ll call u kiddo… by saying he kisses her forehead… she wipes his droolon her forehead… The day she bcm his kiddo… **

A curve of smile touches his cheeks by remembering the first meeting…  that day he doesn’t knw his kiddo will bcm his wife… soon reality strikes him… her sis betrayed him… she married him by cheating… he closes his eyes… he knew about her very well… She doesn’t know to hurt anyone… ‘how can he think his kiddo cheated him’ he asked himself… its true they both always do Tom and Jerry fight… it doesn’t mean they hate each other… they always do care for each others… but now he hurts her for the mistake which she doesn’t done… he felt too bad…  how can he do this to her… 

She married him bz she always listens elders word… she was blackmailed emotionally… bcoz dadi asked to do so… bcoz she don’t want anyone to bad mouth her didi… her didi is her life… she don’t want anyone to joke at her handsome… she married him bcoz of circumstance… he not even imagine in his worst nightmare to hurt her … but now he did… He very well knew she is afraid of darkness then how can he throw her out… he cursed himself and runs outside to look her…

For his surprise swara was sitting on chair by placing her head on the dining table… (he always keep spare key in his doorstep for swaragini…) Sanskar felt bit relived… swara looks sanky and stands… she gives her best smile to him… but her swollen red eyes, pale face tells her sleepless night and her tears… 
Swara: Handsome you woke up… do you have drinking habit… why don’t you tell about this to me… haan..? She talks with him like nothing happened… its guilt sanskar more… she didn’t angry on his behaviour… she didn’t run away from him even after he throws her out… she return to him… Sans(hesitantly): swara yesterday I…  

After hearing the word yesterday swara gt panicked… she thought bz of depression only he behave lyk dis… but again he is talking about yesterday… Swara interrupts: sanskar I know I’m fault… I hurted you lot… if you want punish me but pls dont hate me… I can’t tolerate it… it’s hurting me… I’m sorry… still I’m ur kiddo only na… don’t you want forgive her… both eyes are welled-up… tears simultaneously streams from both their eyes…

He comes to ask sorry but now she is seeking his forgiveness… sanky pulls her into arm hugs… Sans: I’m sorry… yesterday I’m not in my sense… I’m just a mad… I promise you… it won’t happen again… I can’t hate you even in my dreams… I don’t mean those words… you’re always my kiddo… he wipes her tears… she smiles and wipes his tear…

swara screams by holding her stomach… sans with concern: what happened… swara: my stomach s growling… I think I’m hungry…  Sans: dramabaz… he took choco from fridge and gives to swara… she takes it… swara: do you really think it’s enough for me… she pouts… sans: now you eat this, I will order some food… swara: why..? wr is kaki(servant)… Sans: actually I asked her quit… dnt wry will ask her to join fron tomo… swa: don’t you know cooking…? Sans: Oye… I’m not like you… I’m the best chef… he raised his shirt collar for self praising… swara: ohho… but for me my didi only best cook…

After hearing a word didi sanskar face pale… swara holds his hand: don’t be mad at didi… sans: why should I ..? It’s my mistake… somehow I forget to gain her trust… He looks at the air ticket for newyork which is placed on table…

He lied she failed in exam…he asked her to quit job… he sent her resignation letter without her knowledge… he hide the fact of leaving kolkatta… its all bz she gt admission in newyork… he thought to surprise her after marriage by presenting those tickets… he want see happiness in her face… but before that she left him… she is stupid, once she asked reason for his doing now he is hers…

Swara looks at sanskar upset face… swaraa: sanskar, didi  just misunderstands… soon she will learn truth… dnt worry… sans: swara now no value for those truth… I cant be hers… swara: dnt think I will be barrier between you both… as soon di return,, I will leave from ur life… he simply pats her cheeks and silently leaves with sad smirks… swara looks on…
